Quaestor Report

Greetings Gladius!

There have been quite a few additions since my last report. That's very good to see! Gladius is starting to grow and our members continue to move up the ranks. With the Great Jedi War upon us, it will be very easy for the lower members to pick up ranks and awards. So please get started, but more on that later.

First up, new members! I would like to welcome the following individuals to House Gladius:

APP Akaine Aurnas

APP Brin Chaser

APP Pyxis

All three have joined in the past 10 days so please make them welcome!

One other piece of news that just happened in the past hour. Dark Jedi Knight Scion.... By order of the Grand Master himself, you are hereby promoted to the rank of Sith Warrior! Congrats SW Scion!

It came as a shock to me, but I am very proud of you! You have really deserved it with your tireless devotion to both your House, and your Clan. You have served Gladius better than any AED, and I know you will become a great QUA once you knock me off! And following an old tradition.. Drinks are on Scion! ( hehe)

Now that House News is out of the way, time to focus on the larger picture. And that would be the Great Jedi War.

To the newer members, if you haven't been told yet (which would require you living under a rock) the largest event in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood is upon us. The Great Jedi War is the end all, be all of events in our club. The winners get extreme bragging rights and the losers... well let's just label that under 'Bad' for now. The points we earn for placing well in the GJW will enable us to add new ships to our Tarentum Navy. And with that, comes more room for advancement for those in the Tarentum Military. (If your interested in joining the Tarentum Military, contact PCON Oberst : [Log in to view e-mail addresses])

Now as far as activities during the GJW, there are plenty. If writing is more your style, then check out the fiction event for this week. Its a long one, but It's quite fun. There is also trivia and a poem competition. But, if your more of a gamer, try to work on finding matches between you and someone from another clan. Challenge them and see who wins. There are also graphics events to participate in as well. But before you do any writing or graphics, I suggest you read the story thus far. You can find that on the top left section of the site under Prologue, Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and Chapter 3. They are worth the read, and if you want to participate in the Trivia you really need to read that first.

Here is the link to the website for the GJW : http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/gjw9/ . Take a look at the site to get an idea of what you want to do, and get to it. We have only a few weeks left and I know you don't want our Clan to end up in last place!

I would like to point out one way to help out the Clan and help you read about other members in Gladius and in the other two houses as well. And that is the run on. The run on is a way to really expand on your characters and get the feel for how we operate. Its fun to truly interact with others and I highly recommend it. For those of you who are new, or for those that just have not signed up yet, go here : http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?act=Reg&CODE=00 Now once you follow the instructions to register, go down to the message board marked Clan Tarentum. The board the run on is on is listed under the Great Jedi War 9. Once you register for the message board, email myself, SW Scion or DJK Dralin to get the password to enter that particular part of the message board. Once your in, read up! It might take you awhile at first but it will be worth it in the end!

Ok, that's it for me this time around. Again, I want to welcome all the new members to House Gladius! I also want to say congrats to SW Scion on his promotion.

As always, my door is always open. You can email me here or hop on mIRC and find me under the nick `Hades (its a long story). See you then!
