Due to a few requests I've received, a new CF upgrade has been added. This is the Blue Flame (-BlF), which shall be awarded at 10 victories. After receiving a suggestion and talking about it with a few Dark Council members, we agreed that the first upgrade at 25 victories was somewhat high for people who were just beginning to play multiplayer. I don't like the idea, if "25 is too high for new multiplayer gamers" is the only reason heh. You're automatically given 1 at the beginning, so it isn't like CF doesn't showup as an earned reward.
Besides, you don't only recieve CF's for wins in multiplayer you also obtain them for 3 losses, at least in the ICTE where the majority of it is played shrug
Yeah, I know what CFs are awarded for, and I am aware they show up in your profile even after just 1. Now a new flame shows up after 10. shrug Flames drive a lot of people to keep participating, so I'd rather add this than have people drop out after 14 CFs or something because they already feel they've played quite a bit.
I added flames before to help people who were exceeding the already-set flames...this is the same reasoning only for the opposite side of the spectrum.
Fact is that 75% of CF owners never made it to 25. When you're new and have been losing 15 games just to get your first 5 CFs, the prospect of doing another 60 isn't that pleasant. With the extra level placed at 10, you're suddenly half way to something with this.

The reason stated just doesn't make sense to me. I'm not arguing the change, I'm just stating my opinion about it, and trying to "discuss" it because it won't change anything...but I'm bored. Anyway, the reason it doesn't make much sense to me is say you compare this to the current Obelisk Rite of Supremacy. You have a new guy who sucks at JK, but he plays, and earns 1 point every loss. Meanwhile experienced JK players run around and snab 5 points a win. Should we give em Silver Novas when they dont reach second place, because they suck at the game? :P
Anyway, I've been wondering why there hasn't been one for 10 wins for awhile, but the reason given wasn't a very good one. Shoulda just said "Because I said so" shrug shrug shrug shrug :P
