The Emperor had been a recluse in the wake of the Great Jedi War. While this did not surprise his supporters and advisors, it was terribly uncharacteristic for Thran Occasus to remain out of sight for such an extended period of time. Since joining the Royal Clan’s family, he had become abnormally obsequious in his leadership. He’d spent weeks reviewing all the records of the treasury and military departments all to develop a plan of action. With the end of the Great Jedi War, the Emperor returned to his makeshift palace located in the heart of the Clan’s administration headquarters – which was far too small for a man of his kind of flash – piling over stacks and stacks of datapads, full of information.

Before the war, he’d put a plan into motion. The plan consisted of massive construction projects. At first, it consisted of hotels and other innocuous construction projects. However, the socialist rebellion that brewed under the reign of the past emperors had brought the programs to a crawl. The Three – the Leaders of the rebel forces know as the Cause – had resurfaced, inciting several full blown rallies in the absence of the Clan.

Now, after pouring himself into his work, the Emperor had devised a solid plan to combat the Rebellion. Simply stated, he would buy the public favor out from under the rebel leaders. Like the women that he surrounded himself with, he would make them love him, and then take what he needed. It was a simple plan, yet it was powerful enough to strangle The Cause to death.

Clad in fine gilded silk, Thran Occasus nodded to the blonde haired woman that tended to his every need. The look in her eyes marked her with school-girl desires, clearly showing that their formerly professional relationship had stepped out of those boundaries. She thumbed a switch, and he looked to the Holorecorder. His voice projected, booming with his new found power.

“Children of Judecca, Working man and Nobleman alike, hear the call of your Emperor. War has brought us much pain. Rebellion and discord at home make that all the more difficult to deal with. My heart breaks for the plight of my people, for those living in disparaging conditions, for those with so little heart that they would not give to those in need, and for the office that I occupy. Sleepless nights, tossing and turning. You are my children, and I am your father. It pains me to see my children in so much despair.” He said, his words dripping with silvery seduction.

“I come to you today, with a remedy for our problems, so that our family can be whole again. The Throne has opened the treasury, emptying it into projects that will make life on Judecca far more prosperous. Today, I announce the most comprehensive public works project this wondrous planet has ever seen. These projects include libraries, schools, bridges, roads, space ports, and monuments to the triumphs of the Judeccan people. This evening we usher in a new era for Judecca, built by Judeccans for Judeccans. Together, we will polish the jewel that is Judecca, bringing it to shine gloriously in the light of Imperius. The New Judecca, Our Judecca, will be one of equal opportunity for work and profit.” Thran’s words dripped with pride, but more importantly they true.

“In the new Judecca, my children will not have to fight for bread.” His speech went on for the better part of an hour, his face obscured only by the listing of projects he’d prepared.

The list was full, complete with work for hundreds of thousands of people. The project ideas would undoubtedly infuriate the cause, but it was all part of the plan. Thran smiled as he completed his speech, coating it with sugar to draw in the unsuspecting public. As the message wrapped up, Thran shot a glance to Emily Coral, his newest lover and she met his gaze with a smile.

Emperor Thran Occasus, was playing the crowd. It was his strongest strength and his plan was moving into top gear. Things were going to change, drastically.

For Judecca, we will be constructing The Imperial Palace, Planetary Defense Platforms, Race Tracks, a new Imperial Military HQ, and a handful of other awesome things. Alright, this week, I am going to go on a little rant about minding your own business when it comes to the happenings of other clans. As many of you know, Braecen was recently reprimanded for his conduct during the GJW. Granted, the penalty may have been a bit more harsh than necessary, but at the same time the Consul of a Clan is required to uphold the virtue of the leadership of this club. I know a lot of you want to harp on that comment, but let me finish before I get a reply from you.

No one, who I’ve seen commenting on the outcome of the CoJ ruling, was in anyway involved in the situation. Basically it boils down to this. Mind your own business. If the CoJ found the man guilty then he is most certainly guilty. Innocent until proven guilty. It’s not your business…Stay out of it.

Next order of ranting… I am really sick of the quasi-cop/investigation drama television program. There are like 1400 programs out there with the same plot, same characters, but a different cast. CSI, Without a Trace, Criminal Minds, Law and Order. Its all the same. When will Hollywood get a new idea for a show, that doesn’t suck, and stays on the air for more than a season. Some of the best programs ever get cancelled way too early. See Firefly and see Arrested Development. Why is it that people will watch the same 12 Copdramas, but when a good show comes out it never hangs around. What the crap is the deal with that?

If I never see another Cop Drama…I will be happy.

Untill Next time,

TO.

Ah, but Castle is the good cop drama. Because Nate Fillion is on it. And is AMAZING. :P
