Quaestor Report

Dragon’s Citadel

The Ceremonial Chamber on the first floor was full to the brim. All members of the House no matter occupation or Force status stood within as the Quaestor mounted the dais on which he would speak. The meeting had been called rather suddenly, and even his two hands, Kalak and Koryn stood there somewhat nonplussed. He hadn’t bothered to explain to them exactly what was going on.

All talk ceased as he mounted the podium and took the ceremonial Dragon’s Tooth from his belt and slammed it into the podium. Everyone jumped at the loud bang that accompanied the burying of the blade in the hard wood. “Disciples of the Rising Dragon, the time has once again come to prove our dominance. You all have done very well in the recent times while I have been handling personal matters that have kept me from being here, and I am returned. Have no mistake, I shall be out in front leading you in what is to come, and I expect you to follow in accordance to my wishes.”

Some of the members of the audience shivered, knowing that this was directed at them for their inactivity in the recent months, in failing to heed the call to help in the recovery of Antei, and then later in aiding the Proconsul in his work. There would be no more tolerance of their failure to respond. “Let me be frank. Our very way of life is in danger. The home we have built here stands on solid ground, and would fall before the might of the emperor. If we fail to help him exterminate the scum that challenge his rule, we WILL perish from this place. Have no doubt about that.”

With such words, regular business resumed as the Quaestor began to brief them on the ongoing operations to identify the location of, and setup the extraction for the leader of the ongoing rebellion. A few individuals continued to fidget as time passed, aware that this was only the beginning.

Greetings. The fiction was me addressing several things that needed to be addressed. Since March I have Graduated University, Moved Home, gotten a full time Job, and been dealing with all that entails. I apologize for my absence, but Kalak and Koryn did a pretty good job of keeping us running in the mean time.

Activity however, has been sucky as of late. When I say suck, I mean horrendous and horrible. We have had about 8 active members since the GJW, three of whom are summit. When I say that Thran will wipe us from the face of the Earth, I mean there is a very good chance that placing last in the Feud will result in us being closed. If not by Thran, then by the higher ups in the food chain. They have wanted to close a house here in CSP for a while now. I fought tooth and nail to keep us open, but that means nothing if you don’t participate.

On Monday June 1st, RoaR part Deux begins. Rise of a Rebellion part 2 will determine the leading House in this Clan for the next year. It’s not just bragging rights folks, its allocation of equipment, it’s a whole bunch of things. So when it begins, please bust your butts to submit to every event. I hate and suck at GFX, and I’ll be doing them anyhow. I encourage you to prove that despite being the smallest House, we can still dominate!

Thank Korroth Karn if you see him around. He’s been doing fantastic work on the Ebon Cloak Wiki page, and I’m set to begin another project with him after the conclusion of RoaR. He’s almost to DJK so cheer him on!

Draco deserves your respect also, for keeping Ebon Cloak up and running. He’s done fantastic at getting it off the ground and was instrumental in its success during the war.

Remember, ROAR or go home. We are the Dragon Disciples, help me prove that our ROAR is loudest of all!
