Obligatory Monologue

First off, first competition run by yours truly. Woot, and such. Look for explanations below.

Second, I'm probably going to be even less available for contact than I've been in the past. I'm down to my last two weeks, and because nobody in my battalion talks to anyone else, I get to try and clear out of the Army in those two weeks – oh, and my leave packet was supposed to be turned in two weeks ago, but nobody bothered to tell me about it, and I need my leave signed and approved by Wednesday or I can't get my orders. Hooray?

Anyway, at some point next week, I'm going to call Time Warner Cable and have them disconnect the cable from my room – at which point I'll be incommunicado until Monday – at the very least, I'll have my netbook, if not my desktop, so at least I'll be up on email.
