Good evening everyone,

I’d like to start this, my first report in a long time, with an introduction. My name is Welshman and I’m a DB veteran of over 6 years all of which have been spent in Clan Tarentum in various positions. I’ve seen highs and I’ve seen lows but one thing that keeps bringing me back to this Clan year after year is the bonds of friendship I have formed with the other people who you’ll find on the rosters. I think that perhaps this is the most important aspect in the whole Club, our ability to meet like minded people and make friends who can inspire us to achieve, the same as they do in real life. To that end I’d like to get to know each and every one of you, some I already know such as Bloodfyre; a deeply knowledgeable individual about the Clan and Club and a person who I am honoured to have served with for so many years and one I recommend you speak with (he doesn’t bite). So hit reply to this email and lets talk as a group, I realise that logistically we can’t all gather on our clan IRC channel at the same time every day and thus emerges the beauty of e-mail.

I believe in a Clan having a sense of identity, something Tarentum prides itself on. We have a rich history, we have unique individuals who weave their personalities into the tapestry that is Tarentum and I want us, as a battle team, to have a similar aspect to our being. It’s all well and good saying that you are a member of Tarentum and of Cestus but I want you also to feel proud in being a member of this Battle Team. To that extent I want the back-story of this team to belong to you, it’ll begin with the competition to name the BT. what will we call ourselves? It’s up to you. Submit your suggestions to me and I’ll pick a winner thus awarding that person with the honour of naming a potential piece of history (as well as a crescent of some description). Bare in mind the militaristic nature of Tarentum and that I hope to establish this team as an elite, special forces-esque group. I’ll be submitting a draft history tomorrow morning and forwarding it to you for your review, don’t like where I’m going, then let me know and we’ll see what we can do.

In conclusion to this brief report I’d like to remind everyone of the Cestus run-on currently ongoing, as I am now home and unemployed until graduation I’ll be participating a lot more in it. Other than that we have numerous Cestus specific competitions for you to get your teeth into:
