Ok I've been putting this off for 3 days now, so I figure I just get it over with. News news news news news! Neeewwwssss.

First and foremost, if you haven't guessed it by now then you're kinda very slow; I'm the Dinaari Quaestor. I've been so for two weeks now. I used to be Dinaari Aedile for almost two years, but that got boring and I usurped Vlad's throne. Corax "Baron" Zarjin is my Aedile, whose report you had the pleasure of reading last week. I won't dish out whole biographies here, so if anyone wants to learn more about either one of us just learn through osmosis or something. Or just talk to us regularly. Now onto seriousishy business.

First, I'm totally ripping off Vlad's report style.

Second, the Super-Massive MAA AWOL Check™ is over, as far as Taldryan is concerned. We were left with 43 members, 25 of which were from Dinaari. (Dinaari > Ektrosis.) We've gotten three more members since then, to which I'd like to extend a warm welcome. As it stands, Taldryan is up to 47 members in total. While we're on this topic I want to remind everyone that if they want to go on a Leave of Absence, they set their status as such on their dossier. Aside from the MAA's AWOL checks, Dinaari will be running its own every so often and I don't want to get an e-mail a few days/weeks after I AWOL someone saying "Hey! I was on LOA!"; unless your dossier status says so, you'll be treated as though you're active/AWOL. Be mindful.

Third, I'm Clan Taldryan's new ACC Clan Trainer (provided I finish a battle with Erin sometime soon.) which means that all members in Taldryan that want a Qualification or Training battle need to do it with me. Qualification battles will be judged by the Combat Master and Deputy Combat Master, whereas Training battles will be 'judged' by me. I'll also be the Clan's liason with the ACC, providing everyone with new updates, etc. Whoo! Go me!

Fourth, Baron and I (but mostly Baron) are concentrating on getting a sleuth of competitions released for the House. Our goal is to diversify the types of competitions people can participate in, in order to keep things interesting. I'm in the process of ironing out a possible ACC competition either just for Dinaari or maybe the entire Clan. As always, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions on a competition they'd like to see happen, or run themselves, Baron and I are willing to hear about it. Even though he and I are the House Summit, I want to make sure that every member is involved in Dinaari's development.

• Shitloads of people got Seals of Unity and Clusters of Fire.

• Dark Jedi Comedy by GRD Adrian Agrippa - This is a comedy writing based competition. It requires a beginning, a middle, and a resolution. The pieces will be judged by myself, Adrian Agrippa. It will be judged on how funny and how well written it is. The topic of the competition is to be Taldryan related. Your pieces must be a sent as a .doc, .rtf, or .txt. I've got A LOT on my plate. My summer classes are in full swing (I have a final Law exam this Thursday), I'm looking everywhere for a job, I've got a tonne of crap to do around my house each day, and I'm trying to juggle ACC and Dinaari stuff on top of that. AND I want to have some free time for myself to relax. With all of that, I may not always be around or be on top of events/duties at once, but I will get around to everything. Long rambling short? If I don't reply right away to a question, or if I may seem a bit grumpy on IRC for a few moments...it's because I'm in the middle of a shitstorm at the moment; constantly badgering me won't improve my mood or your chances of a favourable response.

That aside, I'm kinda surprised I didn't completely burn Dinaari down within a few days of taking over Quaestor duties...but there's still time. Things are running somewhat smoothly, sooner rather than later Baron and I will have Dinaari back up to a decently active status. It's all good.
