It seemed that despite the hard work of himself, Kalak, and Koryn, members of House Acclivis Draco had decided that now was the time they would vanish. Despite there being rumors coming from Thran about a rebellion, potentially rising soon, it had occurred to the Obelisk that it was merely something to keep the Houses from solidifying their positions after the successful, albeit painful, retaking of Antei. He would wait no longer. Turning to the nearby com unit he began to issue his orders.

Good Evening, or in many cases, Good Morning.

In just a few short minutes, I will be posting an introduction on the DJB Forums for a House Run On. The RO will last 14 days, and the plot will advance every three days. I hope that you’re up to it, as the plot advancements will reflect your progress on achieving the goals set forth in the beginning, and in each update. To help narrow down who is still active, the Summit will not be posting, besides me doing the plot updates. I look forward to your collaborative fiction, as there are three crescents up for grabs for the best three.

Remember, this is supposed to be about you guys working together, don’t try to solo it. It’s how good Run On’s are ruined. I know, I’ve done it at least once.

There are other competitions going on, check out the competition page on the main site to find them. They’re a lot easier to figure out now that Orv’s done some reorganizing.

I’ve a Major Shout Out to our new guys Aesir and Brisbane for working hard at moving along. These guys are moving up the ladder with a good work ethic and good communication.

On a personal note, I’m approaching my two year mark in the DJB. In Two years, I’ve done quite a few things here, and come a long way. I’ve graduated University and gotten a full time job, have a long term relationship that could turn into marriage soon, and have some other stuff going on. That being said, I’m not sure what the next year will bring, and I’m hopeful that it will be good. I’ve tried my best to help keep you guys interested and busy, and I know that I’ve made some mistakes. I hope that in the coming weeks you’ll try your hardest to prove me right for fighting to keep us an open House.
