Phoenix Phyle Report #22

Well, it look like this may well be one of my last reports as Tet of Phoenix, and I just wanted to say what a pleasure it has been to be back in the driving seat. Thank you to all of you for making my job so easy! I’m on holiday next week, but I’ll be back in time for one last report before the change over!

I would encourage any of you thinking about it to apply for the position, it really is the best way to get a foot on the ladder to higher things, and with Sid and Vodo to help you out you’ll do just fine! Applications need to go to Sid and Vodo, and details of requirements are in Sid’s last email.

Competitions

James’ Score Breaker Comp is running until the 29th June, this is a fun flash game that I was awful at, but somehow at last count I’m in second place...so this should be a really easy way for you guys to earn medals – go beat Lannie’s score, and stop her from being able to tell us all that not only is she great at fiction, but she won a gaming comp too!

Sena’s Project Balvarine run-on is still going on the message boards. To be honest, I’m a little disappointed more of you haven’t jumped in on this yet. There isn’t an awful lot to read through to catch up, and it’s a brilliant way for us to find out how everyone sees themselves, so come the bigger comps the Phyle works better together. If you’re not posting because you’re not sure how, or you don’t want to ‘muck things up’ then drop me or one of the Summit an email, and we’ll guide you through – trust me, it’s not that difficult!

Medallion Restoration – I like this comp, and I’m keen to see what comes out of it! The plan is to revamp the Phoenix Medallion, seeing as those of us holding it have managed to get ours all dirty. Awards, Promos and Congratulations

.....for the first time ever this section is blank....what’s happened guys?!? I know there’re a fair few comps due to end in the next week or so, so I’m hoping the medal requests will come flooding in then!!

So, that’s my lot for now, as I said I’m away next week and may not have internet access, so any questions should go to Sid or Vodo until I’m back (but do CC me on them and I’ll catch up when I get back!)
