Its been a great few weeks and I have seen many results that show some real improvement and a lot of growth potential. So well done to all of you and thank you for your participation and support.
I am going to go ahead and knock this part out. There has been some incidents of cloning within the House and the Clan over the past few weeks. Here's the bottom line;
DON'T DO IT. DON'T TOLERATE ANYONE ELSE DOING IT.
If you are caught you WILL be punished. Its that simple. I encourage all of you to have the responsibility and the honesty to not only keep yourselves from doing it but also to police each other.
Cloning is underhanded, dishonest, and the only application for its use is to put someone else at a disadvantage by deceiving them.
It is wrong and has no place in this House, this Clan, or this Brotherhood.
We are almost ready to unleash the reopening of the Disciples of Ragnos. I want to thank all of the Journeymen that have helped Jade, Manji, and Myself with the various wiki and graphics and so on.
We have plans to fully incorporate the DoR in a living, breathing, and growing atmosphere. The #disciples_of_ragnos IRC channel is to act as a physical place and be RP all the time with special planned events to be scheduled such as ceremonies, missions and etc.
So if you are going to show up in the channel, be prepared to act out your character.
We are also developing a rewards system that will allow the members to develop there characters in new ways. These rewards will only be recognized in the House however, but I think all of you will enjoy and appreciate them.
DoR is designed to be a growing thing which means you can get involved at anytime. This is also a creative thing so if you have a suggestion or something you would like to see...by all means let us on the summit know. This is YOUR house as much as it is ours.
Yes tons of things are going on right now ESPECIALLY for you Journeymen. There is a clan training run on for journeymen only right now I suggest you take a moment and look it over. This is your chance as Journeymen to really get your feet wet and learn how to operate in the strange creature that is the RUN ON.
ACC is also a big deal these days with the new and improved Character sheets that were released a few months back. Macron though he has gone on an extended LOA has offered to stay on as Clan ACC trainer. If you would like a solid introduction to the ACC or just some training..let him know. Or you can give me a call and I will go a round or two with you.
Gaming has always been one of our weaker areas. There has been some talk about how to address this particular area in the Conclave but I would like to hear some input from all of you. What would you like to see from HMR gaming wise?
Training/Gaming days, new games, special events, Clan/House trainers?
In other words what would it take to get all of you interested in gaming in the House?
Far be it from me to throw too much of my personal life around here but a few suggested it so here it goes.
Recently stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. They put me on the flight schedule 4 days after I showed up and I have been there ever since.
I have done everything to see Volcanoes, shoot guns, hunt submarines, search and rescue and even jumped out into the ocean once or twice. Its been fun but its been busy.
Been picking up some of the local language as well ...which is actually a mixture of about 3 or 4 other languages. In one sentence it is common to hear english, japanese, and hawaiian ...they wrap it all together into a local slang called pidgin.
Anyway enough of that.
Obviously its a big time for change and some things are happening real fast. My suggestion to you all is take part and have fun with it. Don't let the negative things get to you either like all this cloning business. Remember why you are here and why you joined which should be something along the lines of "because Star Wars is cool and being a Dark Jedi is friggin awesome." Insert your own adjectives and nouns as needed.
