Aedile Report

2009/08/10, 10:00 PM, Aedile - House Qel-Droma

So, here we have another Aedile report, 3rd one for me, and 100th Aedile report overall for House Qel Droma. That alone is worthy of celebration. Those 100 reports span a long period of time, both good and bad times for House Qel Droma and Arcona, but that was the past, now we look forward to the future where we have in our sights, the Rite of Supremacy that has been announced for January 2010. More on that later in my report. Now onto the business end of things.

Clan News

So, as we all know, Dash stepped down as Consul not too recently. The Summit of Arcona have all thrown our support behind good old Strat, the drama queen that he is for Consul. We loved Dash so much as Consul that the only way to replace him is with someone more of a queen than he is. :P

We're expecting Muz to make the announcement on Consul in the next few days, hopefully soon as with Dash gone and Strat on a temporary LoA, it looks like Legz, Etah and Tim are running the show, a recipe for disaster i tell you. Though i must say, you guys need to pm Strat when he comes back and demand that he makes Timeros his PCON, just to punish the little bastard. I mean, reward the lovely guy for his hard work and dedication to Arcona, that and i don't want Legz to leave me. What can i say? I love the guy. :P (sucking up is always good, just remember to swallow kids. ;) )

The first chapter of the RO has finished, I'd like to thank Dash for ending it on a high note with his brilliant ending post, 12 pages of writing, what a nerd. :P Though he does make me extremely awesome and dashing in it, what a pun. I'm a fucking genius i tell ya. Expect the next chapter of Displace RO when our new Consul is announced.

Brotherhood News

So.....to be honest, what is there to talk about besides the Rite of Supremacy coming up in January 2010? Besides the mini reports from Vartard, Ricco Clone and a little "I'm back" message from Erin. Vartard goes on about some bloody happy hour gaming crap, i think he's been thinking about how much he wants to be British instead of Portuguesey. Who doesn't want to be British? We're fucking awesome. Vowel Chick talks about her monthly competitions, which no one participates in. Apparently they're going to start sometime and finish sometime, which i think is a clever idea, competitions have to start and end sometime, don't they? Even the most retarded DJB member knows that. Well, we'll discount the Furries and their offspring as some of those members. Some of them don't even know the time of day the dumb fucks.

Anyway, the Rite of Supremacy has been announced by DGM Paladin for January 2010. Now the last Rite of Supremacy saw Taldryan win a new system, this next one seems set to be even better. I know that Taldryan and CSP are hellbent on tearing away First Clan from us, but as Taldryan has always said in the past. It's the GJW which count, but with Halc as Consul of Taldryan, we've got a chance to make him "cry" and prove that once again, Arcona can kick ass. To do that, we need you, yes you, to participate as you guys did in the GJW. We could never have won that Vendetta without every single one of you. Hell look at me saying "We". I was in CP when you guys won the GJW and i was pleased as punch to have come 4th instead of last like every single bloody time beforehand. But Timeros and Dash rescued me, sufficiently gayed me up and put me in HQD. So i'm viewing the RoS as a chance to prove myself to Arcona, to Dash and Timeros, but most of all. To prove myself to you guys and to myself that i'm worthy of being an Arconan. Seeing as we're such elitist bastards, that and we love mocking people. (I do alright on that, though Timeros always beats me ¬_¬)

Anyway, i digress, seeing as i'm blathering on. RoS - Jan 2010, be there or be a goddamn Furry. :P

Competitions

Several competitions have ended recently, i hope you've all had fun submitting to them. I do indeed look forward to seeing the results of the theme song contest, especially the choices for the summit members.

But there's a puzzle competition running at the moment, run by the P:GM Alexander Anderson. It seems to be okay, after he fixed all the bloody bugs of course. Also the DGM wants a report header banner, he feels left out as all the other DC members have banners. Please help him out and make him feel included by scraping together your best images from Goatse and making them into a banner for him. (Remember, you didn't get the idea for that from me.)

Again, remember to look at the Competition Listing page every-so-often. Sometimes competitions aren't advertised or start just after a weekly report, so unfortunately aren't advertised. If you are running the competition. Don't hesitate to email the googlegroup about it, or remind Legz and myself and we'll advertise it for you.

Look out for some House and Clan level competitions coming your way, from myself and Legz. We've got several great competitions planned. Expect to see Trivia, fiction pieces, flash games and hell, even a chance to try and shock the unshakable Sang by sending him either crude jokes, disgusting pictures. Please, no pictures of either A: My mother, or B: Tim's mother. They're both fugly and i don't want to see them.

Spammage

Now i've been reading some reports from around the DB recently and i've noticed that a fair few leaders seem to include a fiction bit at the top. I was wondering about that and i thought to myself. "Sang, why do these people have their heads so far up their arses they can't even breathe?" Every piece of fiction i see is either: Self-aggrandising, full of spelling/grammar mistakes or just plain shit. They must do it just to seem fucking amazing at writing. I swear that they want to be the T:F, as if one of them isn't enough. I'm sorry to rant about that, but come the fuck on guys, what are you on? Cause if it's cheap, i'll have some.

Anyway, several things to tell you in here. First of all, i have a lovely ACC match against a DJK in CP, by the name of Mograine. Now Tim was kind enough to set up a custom battle for us, so keep an eye on it and see how it turns out. If one Furry wasn't enough for me, i have a ugly Rancor to deal with too. Though i suppose i could always write in about Mograine trying to seduce the Rancor, I wonder if Mograine would take it from the Rancor too. Look out for that battle in the ACC.
