Alright... well, first off, having no internet because of a fritzing computer sucks. However, I'm back, and the DB seems to have gone on fine without me. Thanks to the ACC Staff for keeping things running while I was away - good job, everyone.

At some point, I need someone to make me some decent-looking report section headers. Maybe I'll put a competition for that out next week.

The big news since I've been back is the creation of a new ACC rank, Tertiarus. Many of you who have not been active in the ACC recently will find that your rank has been changed to that. This is because I went through the recent battles - everthing fought since the GJW - and flipped anyone who hasn't fought a battle since then over to that rank. Don't worry, your win/loss records and any special standing like Champion have been retained, it's just your rank that's changed.

The reason for this is because, while I know many people were active during the GJW, I think it's fair to say that Vendettas bring out an unusually high number of people being active, including people who have a lower activity level in day-to-day DB stuff. The creation of the Tertiarus rank and movement of people into that rank is just so I can have a better idea of who routinely participates in the ACC, as opposed to only doing so for special events.

Getting your old rank back is simple: just send an e-mail to myself and Tsainetomo, and we'll give it back.

Upcoming Events

The lower ranks competition I'd intended to run was put off by my not having any internet. I'm going to aim to have that started up in September, and run for about a month. The next Championship League is also in the works, and will take place sometime after the lower ranks competition. I don't have any more specific details at the moment, but once I get them, I'll fill you in.
