HMR Aedile Report

Alrighty then! So this is my first report since taking office, and well I got a few things to cover and I'll try to keep it to as short as possible.

First I want to say Thank you to Zaxen for his service to HMR and that I wish him good luck and to stay safe to where ever the Navy shall take him. I got some pretty decent sized shoes to fill but thank goodness I wear a size 12 shoe. ;)

Secondly, to take a word from Shikyo, my old stomping ground, the Night Raptors AKA the Consul's Own, need a new BTL. For the job the requirements are as follows:

-At or above the rank of GRD

-Should have at least one SA Leadership but not required

-Have a good presence through IRC, email, and the forums.

-24-72 hour email turn around

-Must spend a few hours each week to focus on BTL duties, such as:

* Weekly reports to the Summit and the battle team  

* Weekly competitions  

* Helping new members  

* Doing minor promotions from APP to ACO  

Also in your application I would like to see any plans and ideas that you have for the battle team, as well as why you want to be the next battle team leader. Email myself, Jade, Manji, Ashura, and Tyren your applications for us to go over no later than Wednesday 9/16. Also if you want to be on a battleteam email myself and Jade with your preference and you will be placed on a team. The other thing with being on a battleteam is that if you are inactive for two weeks, you will be removed from it, so that newer members can join and gain the experience. Reason you want to be on a battleteam is that you can get your promotions done faster.

Third, as my Night Raptors know, I'm big on the gaming and well I've been training a few of them in the ways of playing Empire at War but I've also recruited the help of Ylith and Raven. These two know the ins and outs of the majority of the major platforms such as Jedi Academy(both their specialty), Jedi Outcast, Republic Commando, Battlefront 2(my specialty), and Empire at War(Raven's). I'll give it to you all straight, the Right of Supremacy is coming up in January and in the past we haven't done so well gaming wise since there is only a few of us. I'm looking to change that. All that you as the member is email me the platforms you use, and either myself or Ylith or Raven will help you out so we can pwn some people in the RoS. Now if you want an even greater experience, join #dbgaming and challenge anyone in there. It has been quiet as of late but if you see someone named Dante in there, he will show you some neat tricks. Oh and it might help if you mention that I sent you to him for help. ;) But here is the absolutely good thing for doing these matches, you can get Clusters of Fire which for some of you Journeymen out there need for your next promotion. You get a win win situation there. :P

Fourth. AWOL check is coming up this week. This will mean you have to email the Summit that you are around and that you are actually doing something IE show us that you have done tests from the SA or something. This will also help Tyren give an idea as to how many apprentices we have for potential masters.

Which leads me to my next point. There are a few people above the rank of DJK and a few under the rank of DJK. Tyren, being our new Clan Rollmaster(congrats to you my friend), is trying to coordinate the master student program, and so far he's doing a great job for it. Those of you that don't know what it is, it's basically a chance to become promoted faster. Master/Student Program + being on a Battleteam = win.

The Feud is OVER!! Entries were due last night before Ashura and Xanos woke up in the morning over in the UK. The only thing that is still going on in the Feud is the ACC ladders since they take quite some time to finish.

Private Run ons. Jade mentioned early this week about having private run ons to develop your character, now you can do this two ways. Through email that is kept on a word document or through the Forums. Contact myself, Tyren or Jade if you wish to develop your character further.
