Sparkles and crackling noises came out as the orange and yellow came together. As the two sabers clashed together, their wielders looked each other straight in the eye. Their eyes were not filled with hate but with motivation and ambition.
"Your skills have progressed Aedile!" said Frosty Romanae Tarentae to the human female standing in front of him. "I hope I'm not too much of a challenge for you" replied Kyra Starfire as she pushed back from the clinch.
"Not at all. I always enjoy challenges, makes life more interesting." continued the Dashade in his growl like voice. "How did the meeting with the Proconsul go?" asked Kyra.
"Well we received some unexpected orders. It seems that we won't be going after the Renegade but instead we will be searching for an artifact." answered the Quaestor as he started circling the woman.
"You think this is wise?" retorted the Aedile, "It is not our duty to question orders as it is to follow them. I know Anshar and Oberst for a long time and I trust their judgement." answered Frosty.
The Quaestor jumped towards her sparring partner pulling her out from the sea of thoughts.Slashing left and right but carefully enough not to seriously injure her assistant Frosty enjoyed the match. On the other hand, Kyra was starting to show sings of fatigue.
Pulling back from the fight with a force assisted back flip, Frosty decided it was time to put and end to the fight. The Obelisk bowed as he deactivated his saber, the warrior in him always attended to the etiquette.
"Thank you for the match. We must not overdue ourselves, there will be plenty of fights in the near future." said Frosty.
"Let's hope the enemy isn't as strong as you are, Sir." replied Kyra.
Since my last report we had some activity, we've also got some new members. I won't go into details like in my last reports, I don't want to bug you with technical stuff more than I have too, check out our Aedile's report for that. Oh and while you're at it, make sure you thank Kyra for her well written report. I would like to welcome Maaz Inglet and Evant Taelyan into the house. Maaz is off to a good start and has already earned himself a promotion to Novice and Evant is a former member of Tridens.
The clan competition is still on. You can read the storyline HERE and the competition specifics HERE. Cypha and Raiju represented us so far in the fiction events and me and Kyra did our part for the gaming event. We have a chance of being the house that will win this event so don't be shy and pitch in with whatever you'd like to do...graphics, fiction, gaming. If you require assistance for any of that, just send me and email and we'll work it out together.
Because of the ongoing clan competition, I've decided it would be best to postpone the release of the projects I have in store for you guys but rest assure we, the Tridens staff are working on it.
In other news, our own Jagen managed to get some spotlight action in the Grand Master's report. The GM also clarified some stuff, like the recent downfall of activity and you know he might be right in what he is saying. I know i was right to put him in the GM position. Just kidding, but you'd better look for yourself, HERE.
