_The Shadow Academy

Two Months Ago..._

The last of the Eclectic Pedagogues and various Shadow Academy staff entered the anti-chamber, each taking a seat around the large oak table. Each wore their cowls over their head, their hands concealed within the robes of their sleeves. Several groups had joined heads in whispers, awaiting the Headmaster and Praetor. Lyspair's grand conference room was magnificent, even more so since its rebuilding after the destruction by the Yuuzhan Vong. The ceiling saw a massive painting of a distant battle during the Clone Wars, a reminder of what secrecy and patience could afford when used correctly. They had all been called here suddenly, with no forewarning, and no idea of what the meeting was for. They were all confused and uncertain, but none felt an unbalance in the air, so they waited, and talked.

Growing impatient, one of the Obelisk staffers craned his head and his hand briefly brushed against an obtuse object under the table. Perplexed, he slid backwards and glanced beneath the table to see several large rounded detonators fashioned securely to the bottom of the table. He stood abruptly, knocking his head on the table, but that split-second mistake was too long, and as he got to his feet and prepared to shout a warning, the room lit up, throwing them all backwards against the wall as everything caught fire and disintegrated.

Nearby, the Masked Man felt the vibration from the explosion rattle the walls of the Academy. He smirked, phase one now complete, and turned and started striding towards his next objective, in the quarters of the Headmaster.

--If you're like me, then you love all things Wiki. I believe that with a little common sense Wikipedia is a perfectly reliable resource, and Wookieepedia is one of the lifebloods of the Star Wars universe, just as the DJBWiki is coming to serve as an archive of all things DB. Currently, the Shadow Academy offers the Wiki Basics course, designed to help members create their first character page and get started, but it is quickly noted that the really exciting pages include more than simple info boxes, which is why the Shadow Academy is premiering the brand-new Wiki Editing course. This new course written by RevengeX gives information about tables, templates, and many of the more code-like parts of the Wiki, all of which can be used to make your page all that more awesome, and perhaps even a featured article. Projects

--I have, for the most part, the Shadow Academy scheduled up through November, and those weeks include two new courses plus another new degree. Also stay on the lookout for continued updates from our new Department professors, as well as a few major course rewrites. Stuff is happening, stay tuned.
