HOUSE MARKA RAGNOS

OCTOBER 15, 2009

Some time has passed since the destruction of Ragnos Cathedral and the members of Marka Ragnos have slowly migrated to their new home in Mucenic. With the change of venue the members have also gone through a minor transformation. Taken from the busy day to day life of Kar Alabrek and its materialistic and military ways they have moved themselves to a secluded location and have been re-awoken in the shadows to their original goals of becoming Masters of the Dark Side and true Disciples of Ragnos.

Unlike their brethren whom follow the ways of Ludo Kressh, the true believers of Marka Ragnos have given up their bureaucratic and militaristic titles removing themselves from the mundane lifestyle of those not worthy of the former Dark Lord of the Sith; Marka Ragnos.

In the dark halls of Mucenic, the followers of Marka Ragnos have focused on the ways of the Dark Side and continue to become more and more powerful each day.

NEW QUAESTOR

Greetings Marka Ragnos, Im back from my short absence and ready to once again assist the members of this great House. Been some time since I have roamed the halls of HMR (at least with clothes on) and even longer since Ive been Quaestor (I believe it was some time in 1999 when I took over for Ximeno); so that was a much younger, skinnier, but not much prettier Bob at the time. :P

I have spent most of my time in recent years in that other House, but never fear, I never really liked them anyway. Thats right, we are way better than that House Ludo Krap. </pick fight>

So Ive got a few plans for our future and have begun to work on a direction our House will head towards and it will involve each and every member of Marka Ragnos.

DISCIPLES OF RAGNOS

The Disciples of Ragnos is what separates us from that other House in our Clan. While they live in a major city in a fancy state of the art Skyhook hiding behind false military titles WE live in the shadows surrounded by mystery and intrigue feared as a dangerous religious cult of sorcerers and monks. While we may joke and drink amongst one another; our public image keeps us out of the light and hidden in the shadows growing powerful in the darkness.

The DoR has been something that has been worked on by numerous members over some time and I plan to continue with its progress. My major task will be to make this program useful, practical, and popular. So over the next few weeks expect to see various opportunities to assist and make your mark on the history of House Marka Ragnos.

NEW HOME

It has been sometime since the Ragnos Cathedral was taken from the House and I would like to begin to solidify our new official home and further develop it too make it a part of each and every one of us.

For those not familiar check out the above link and learn about our base of operations Mucenic. It is quite different than the former home in Kar Alabrek and I believe it will go along nicely with the fictional direction of the House as we improve and further develop it.

BATTLETEAM DEVELOPMENT

Aedile Fremoc and I will be also putting some new focus on helping the Battleteams grow. We would like to see each team grow together and learn to work as teams. The teams already have some nice identities and histories; we would just like to build upon these and continue the growth for the future. Some Team-only Operations will be created and other things to help assist the Team Leaders in developing their teams and sparking activity.

So I encourage all members to join a Team if you are currently not part of one, contact either I or Aedile Fremoc and we will help you out.

CONCLUSION

So my first report as Quaestor is basically just a politician like speech with my promises of what I will do if I get the job; only I already got the job. But none the less I am usually pretty good about getting the things I say done, unless I dont.

And now to end on a joke.

A large group of House Lady Kressh members were moving down a road marching towards battle when they heard a voice call from behind a sand dune........

"One Marka Ragnos soldier is better than ten Ludo Krappers"

The Krap commander quickly sent 10 of his best soldiers over the dune, whereupon a battle broke out and continued for a few minutes then silence. The voice then called out........

"One Marka Ragnos soldier is better than one hundred Ludo Krappers"

Furious, the Krap commander sent his next best 100 troops over the dune and instantly a huge fight commenced. After 10 minutes of battle, again silence. The voice called out again............

"One Marka Ragnos soldier is better than one thousand Ludo Krappers"

The enraged Krap commander mustered one thousand fighters and sent them across the dune. Cannons, rockets, & laser gun fire ring out as a huge battle was fought. Then silence.

Eventually one wounded Krap fighter crawled back over the dune and with his dying words told his commander.........
