Dark Greetings Tridens,

Happy Halloween!

This week has seen the awards for the Renegade Thief and Obsidian Blade parts of the Clan Competition handed-out and congratulations to Frosty, Cypha, and Raiju for representing Tridens in the events. The Clan skirmish competitions are in full swing and so are several other clan comps, while our Quaestor's own competition Presents for the QUA is finishing its run on November 1th. That means lots of activities for us to do and for the journeymen opportunities to earn awards and participation toward promotion.

Most of us have had people disrespect, bully, or otherwise take advantage of us in the past. Maybe we didn't have the power to defend ourselves back then, but we do now. Write a story about an instance where your character gets revenge on someone who hurt them before they joined the Brotherhood and learned to use the Force. Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, and grammar. Two page minimum, no maximum.

Consul Mustard in the Corsair with the Vibroblade

You awake to a state of panic throughout the Tarentum houses. Grabbing your closest weapon, you race to the conference room where people are gathering. The holographic image of your Proconsul is plain to see. The news: Your Consul has been brutally murdered. Your task is to write a horror/mystery story. Include how the Consul died, how you go about finding who killed him, and any sort of horror elements you come across along the way - whether you be stalked by the killer or end the whole story in a twist. Here's the catch - you must begin the story with this line:

"You have got to be kidding me!"

And you must end the story with this line:

"And then I ate him. On a sesame bun. With a side of onion rings."

The story must be at least half a page long.
