Guardian Driftan Housan, Commanding

Greetings members,

-=Introduction=-

It's been pretty slow here lately overall, and I for one, have a tendency to get frustrated and bored, but I think it's up to us to look outside of the normal competitions and take the initiative to be active. Here are a few of the things that I am working on, and perhaps they will give you some ideas as well:

*Doing my qualification battle with Juda in the ACC (By the way, Juda is the new clan trainer for Arcona in the ACC, so if you want to get qualified, he's your man.)

*Working on a cooperative fiction with Llats over in Galeres. It's a lot like the ACC or a run-on, but more open-ended. I will send it out when we are finished.

*Writing fiction for my promotion trials. Any of you who haven't made DJK yet should try doing some of this to develop your character.

*Writing a Wiki article for Project:Reb00t for the clan.

These are obviously just some ideas, and if you enjoy doing other things, I would highly encourage you all to pursue those passions. If you need any help or guidance, please feel free to ask away.

Quaestor Legz has decided to step down from his position within House Qel-Droma. This is a big loss for us all, as Legz was a solid leader and model for us all. Wish him well, and be prepared to help and serve the next person who is chosen to lead this house to greatness

-=Competitions=-

The team run-on will begin this week. I just got the competition approved and will have it out to you in another email this weekend most likely, if not before. Here is a link to the competition.

Zakath (AKA Ninj on IRC) is running a competition for his report headers. If you like this stuff (Jaecyn) and want to earn some medals, check it out here.

The final results came out for the Great Hunt, and I am proud to announce that we came in 3rd place overall. My thanks go out to Jaecyn and Strat for their hard work in participating in this competition and helping us end in a very respectable position.

*Slow week for me, honestly. I've been feeling the crush from real life as well as being a little bit down. I've got a lot of stuff in the works, and hopefully I'll start to see the fruit of those labors soon.

Those of you who are active are really impressing me. Ruluk is on the edge of making DJK, and that is something we will all look forward to celebrating with him in the very near future. Keep up the great work, and keep the momentum going in the lead up to the RoS.
