Rite of Supremacy

As you are all undoubtedly aware, the Rite of Supremacy is in full swing. Good luck to everyone. The only thing I can be certain of is that Arcona is going to WTFPWN this first week and progress to phase two. Yeah...I know. It is a pretty impressive prediction that I'll have to chock up to Dark Side Precognition.

Anyhow, the important thing to note on the RoS site is that teh Gaming Match logging is new from the ground up so please inform me of any oddities or suggestions if you come across any.

Site Conversion

This project is clipping along at a reasonable pace. Right now, Karel Tarentae has been ripping out and doing a lot of work with our Report system. The new condensed report pages and new report UI? Yeah, that was all him so direct your appreciation towards Karel on that one. I took the code and converted the news display to match so that adding comments doesn't send you to a new page where the news/report and other comments disappear.

Solus Gar - my new Praetor - is hard at work mocking up dossier changes to more appropriately use the data and space that we have. Yeah, you heard that right...the dossier will be changing fairly soon. The overall goal is to bubble up some of the important/eye-catching data to the summary page and combine/relocate some of the lesser used elements. Fewer tabs means less clicking and less confusion. Besides...we have to make room for the Possession System tabs, right? :)

As with all bits of core code that get added to the DJB site, I have my hands deep in the mire and keep a close eye on development with minor suggestions/oversight from me.

Lastly, as the Herald's Office was pumping out sweet gear for the Herald Style Hanukkah you all may have noticed that the saber and robe selector has been converted to PHP. Stay tuned for more Administration Page tweaks in the days to come.

As is always the case, I have been doing bug fixes on existing pages when they arise.

This todo list has changed drastically due to the site issues.

This hasn't changed much since the last report as some core DJB functionality needs to be converted in order to proceed.

Dessan has stepped up and taken the bull by the horns on this one. He was able to do a test conversion to phpBB but we are opting to table this migration until after the RoS.

I will be taking a limited LoA in January (13th - 20th) when I head out to Seattle to visit my family. Oh, and a side note...I played this sweet board game called Caylus. If you are at all in to Euro Board Gaming, check it out...it is pretty ballsy.
