Greetings Members of Black Hammer,

My name is Luciferus “Scyrone” Leviathan, but most people either call me Scy or Lucy. I am your new Black Hammer Battle-Team Leader.

Everytime I gain a new position I like to tell people about my past. I first came to the Brotherhood back in 2005. I was placed here in Clan Arcona. After a year I left for Plagueis, and a few months after that I left for Clan Scholae Palatinae. All through my time in those three Clans I met some great people and became friends with many of them. I spent almost 3 years in Clan Scholae Palatinae including a few rogue times here and there. But after my last time going rogue, when I came back, I decided that I wanted to return to the Clan I was placed in when I first joined. I forgot the reason why I left in the first place, and now I want to make something of myself in this Clan.

But this isn’t the sole reason I wanted to be a BTL. Over my time in different leadership positions I have figured out a multiple of things. First I figured out that a leadership position is like a scale. You have to balance things in order to keep activity up and people progressing. My scale works like this: on the one side there is a tiny bit of self-improvement (for me), external issues (like relations to other BTs and the House), and BT projects. On the other side of the scale is all of you (the members). Basically I want to be in this position mainly for you. I want to help you in your character progression. I want to help you be able to put something interesting on your Wiki page. I want to help you stand out from other stories and characters in the DJB. I want to keep you all active in a way that is forward-thinking to us all.

Some things I want your opinions, input, and ideas on are the following:

1. Reorganization of the BT. Juda did a great job with the BT and how it was run, but when I looked at the Wiki page, our layout seemed like we were part of the Galares military. From a certain point of view, we are. But in a different light we are really an extension of the Galares elite. We are a special strike force that is meant for special missions. If something needs to be retrieved in enemy territory, Galares won’t send an army. Galares will send us. Black Hammer Brigade should be willing to rise to the occasion when things like this need to be done.

What I would propose is that we split the team into specialization classes. E.g. like a Basketball game where everyone has a special position, but instead of trying to get the ball into the basket, we would be getting an objective. I want to talk about things like this, so I will respect and add your ideas to the collective idea-bank.

1. Future comps. I was thinking of doing a slightly major comp for our BT. Something that might involve a Run-On and a few competitions. Basically something not for winning, but for character progression and storyline basis. Maybe we could even involve the other BTs in some aspect. What do you all think?

I check my email a lot, I am getting to be on IRC more, and my classes this term are easier than anything I have ever done (Playwriting=easy, Sociology=class already taken but cheating the system, Art=easy win).
