So, my first report as Master at Arms. Unless you have been living under a rock (and yes, I mean you, Malik) it should not be a surprise that this report would come, considering I've been in office for about a week now.

Most of you know me. For those that don't, here's a little a bit about me. I've been in the DB for more than 6 years now. I've been in every type of position possible, from BTL to DC member. IRL, I work in IT support. I am also a photographer on a freelance basis, and twice a month, I am a manager at a concert hall. When I find the time, I also do archery. So, yes, I like to keep busy.

What do I plan to bring to the DB? On a very basic level, the Master at Arms' job is to process requests. My goal is to keep those under 12 hours. Yes, at times, that may be a bit longer. But, on average, they'll be done within 12 hours.

Besides that, I plan to streamline things a bit. One thing has already changed, in regards to the trivia. See my below newspost for that. I'm still considering some other things, and as soon as those are finalized, you'll see the results from that.

Now, to answer some questions. No, you can not be on my staff. I am keeping Anshar. Besides that, there is no point in hiring anyone else at the moment. If there is, you will find out one way or the other.

Also, no, I will not promote you for no reason. No Malik, not even you. And no, whatever reason you give, it's not valid.

Finally, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I don't bite.

BTW.. one more thing. yes, you have all been awarded your Novae. Congrats to all. Off week events will have their Novae awarded as soon as the placings for those are announced. To those summit members complaining about their mailboxes being flooded: learn to set up your filters properly. ;)
