The Key

The longer that I am a part of this club, the more I am utterly convinced that the key to this club being a success is the continued dedication and excellence of you, the member. The leaders can come up with the best competitions, projects and sites, but if you guys don't take part then it is all for naught. That is why the future and hope of Arcona lies on the shoulders of our members, and from what I have seen in the past, I believe we have what it takes to lead this Clan in new heights of glory.

The Challenge

I want to challenge all of us to take the next couple of months and really show what it means to be an Arconan. There is so much talent and energy in this Clan, and that is one of the reasons I love being here, but we need to take that talent and energy and turn it into something that we can all be proud of. If you love gaming, get out there and lead the charge. If you love fiction, take part in all the great fiction comps that are available to you (I recommend the Justicar's latest competition). If you are an ACC guru, challenge everyone you can and rack up all those wins in the name of Arcona.

Rest assured that your leaders are watching and taking notice, and we want to be so overwhelmed with the number of promotion and medal requests that we have to write that we have calluses on our fingers from all the typing. And know this; the leadership in Qel-Droma will be out front leading the way. We are dedicated to setting the standard for excellence in this House, and hoping that you all put us to shame with how far you exceed our own efforts.

The Future

There are a lot of really cool things in the works behind the scenes, and I want to give you all a glimpse into what is coming soon. Some of this is still in the beginning stages of development, so don;t expect it all to come flooding out in the next week, but here's a look being the curtain of what we are working on:

Clan Run-on: Wally and I are currently in the process of creating the foundations of the next big run-on for Arcona. It's going to take place during the time period after the RoS has ended and we are returning home from war. What's going to happen? Who are we going to be facing next? Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.

Shadesworn: Some of you probably remember the big email that Braecen put out a few months ago about the Shadesworn Initiative in Arcona. Well, we are working on a project that will take that to the next level. Just as a preview, it's going to involve you guys being rewarded for every activity you take part in within the Brotherhood, and turning that activity into fictional bonuses that you can use within the Clan during fictional and other venues. It's going to be a lot of fun and will add yet another layer to the fictional background of our Clan.

Wiki Revamp: Right now we have some of our guys going through all of the Clan's Wiki pages and seeing what needs to be overhauled, updated and added. It's a lot of stuff from what I can tell, and there are going to be some great opportunities for anyone who is interested to be a part of making our Wiki pages amazing. You'll be hearing more about that soon and then given the chance to help after that.

That's just a snapshot of what we are working on now, and I can't wait to be able to tell you more details as things progress. Your leaders are working very hard to create a place where you have every opportunity possible to excel and have a great time in this Clan.
