Introduction

Things seem to be pumping along smoothly within the House. Since my last report, we have installed two new Battleteam Leaders. Zod and Ruluk have taken over the responsibilities of leading teams Wolf Guard and Shadow Gate respectively. From everything I have seen they are doing a great job of being available and active as they strive to set the example for their teams. Keep up the great job guys.

Competitions

There is only one I want to draw your attention to right now, and that is the Clan Run-On (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6052&st=0&#entry185592). Wally has done a great job of orchestrating this event for the Clan, so I would highly (read: HIGHLY) encourage all of us to read up on the plot and jump in when we can. This is a great opportunity to be a part of developing the storyline of the Clan, so don't miss out on this great chance.

On the Horizon

I want to draw your attention to something big that is coming up soon for the Clan. In the month of May (I will update you with an exact date when one is announced) Clan Arcona will be challenging another Clan in a Feud. This is going to be an amazing time of competition where we get to rally around the Arconan flag and stand up for our great Clan in battle.

As more details are released and made public I will let you know what is going on. Suffice it to say, I love competitions where we get to compete against members outside of our Clan, so I will be there with bells on. I look forward to seeing all of you step up and see who rises to the top as the greatest warriors of our Clan.

Dark Brotherhood Thoughts

I want to introduce to you the first of two new sections that will be making an appearance in my reports from now on. I call it "Dark Brotherhood Thoughts" and it will essentially be some random thoughts on whatever it is I am working on or interested in within the Brotherhood at the time.

Currently, I am in the second round of the ACC Journeyman competition, and I have to say, I am really loving the ACC. I first jumped into the ACC during the last RoS, and I have been hooked ever since. I love the challenge of writing correct, consistent, entertaining posts against someone else trying to destroy me. The short time restraints in the competitions also add a tension that makes the writing that much more fun on my end.

I just finished two battles against members in other units, and I wanted to throw out a word of thanks and appreciate to Guardian Eiko of Revan and Jedi Hunter Tirna or Taldryan. They both wrote excellent posts that stretched me to be creative and on my game. I am excited to see the results when they come, but I truly hope I get to see these two competitors again in the future.

I would encourage all of you to try the ACC and see what it takes to write your character in a battle scene. It is a challenge, fun, and action-packed experience that adds one more dimension to your time in the Brotherhood.

Slice of Life

This is the second of my new sections, and in it I want to relate some of my Real Life experiences to you guys to give you a little glimpse into who I am as a person.

As some of you know from our conversations, I work in a cigar store in real life (It's actually one of the largest cigar stores in the world, which is pretty cool). It goes without saying that I love cigars, so I was curious if any of you enjoy a good cigar every now and then as well. Let me know what you like and I'll see if I can point you to some other good smokes that you might like as well.
