Wolf Guard Situation Report #2

Commander Zod Ramiel’s armory-issued lightsaber snapped to life, the crimson blade mixing with the red hue of the BAC Shadow’s emergency light. Motioning to Major Joseph VanWyck, the two Jedi Hunters crept out of the flagship’s Officer Observation Bubble and down the corridor.

“I sense no disturbance in the Force and there’s no physical evidence of a struggle, sir” said VanWyck, the XO peering inside a doorway, his Vulcan Six-NinE pistol preceding him.

“Weird” Zod replied dipping his lightsaber taking his thumb off of the crude activator button. The red blade slunk back into its tube with a hiss.

Joseph returned to Zod’s side and removed his helmet, fixing his superior and friend with slate-grey eyes, further marred by the crimson hues of the Shadow.

“I don’t know, Commander. Creepy is more like it…what the!?!” VanWyck began to reply before a form clad in dark robes suddenly flew through the air and tackled the Executive Officer to the ground. Immediately, Hunter Ramiel responded; he spun on his heel and shoved his own Vulcan Six-NinE into the stranger’s temple.

“Drop it” Zod ordered as he saw his XO’s assailant was wielding an identical pistol. When the man refused, Zod fired an emerald blaster bolt into the corrugated durasteel floor next to him.

“I said drop it!” the Epicanthix repeated and he grabbed a fistful of hood and pulled it off. Funnily enough, the reveal caused the Battleteam Leader to drop his own Vulcan sidearm.

“Haruun!? What the frek?!” Jedi Hunter Zod Ramiel exclaimed as he looked on his subordinate, Sergeant Haruun Orontes. <end fiction>

<open intro> Hey Wolves, it’s Commander Zod here with the second installment of the Battleteam’s SitReps, or Situation Reports, for your reading enjoyment and knowledge enhancement. I apologize for the tardiness of this report; I just had a rare “swamp Zod” week with school and social life so that put me past the expected release date. Again, I apologize, but hopefully I can make it up to you in the near future. Without further ado, lets go!

*Naga Sadow Proconsul Slot Open for Applications! – That’s right, if you meet the list of requirements found on the News Page (such as 24 hr e-mail turnaround time, rank of E2+, previous House leadership experience, etc) you can send in an application before May 9th to Taigikori Aybara Dupar and Consul Manji Keibatsu Sadow.

*The Voice of the Brotherhood Speaks – The First Voice, Halcyon Taldrya, has filed his first report on the Main Page and I must say, I’m impressed; within the report are clear-cut definitions of what he’ll be doing, the competitions that he’ll be running, and how to earn the Cluster of Ice, our new medal.

*Tarentum Consul Report Out – Our erstwhile ally, Ronovi Tavisaen, files another bi-weekly report filled with good information (including a question from our own ‘conan, Sang) and a solid, yet gritty, addition to Tarentum’s story arc.

*The Right Hand of Justice – turned out to be Angelo Palpatine Dante, a former LHoJ. I’m sure he’ll do great work on the opposite side of the judiciary bench so congratulations to him!

^^^ Clan News^^^ 1) Primarch Erinos Returns – After Consul Sashar’s little spat with food poisoning, he has recovered and his back and at ‘em! Welcome back, Dash.

2) No Rest For The Wicked – How true! But that has to do with my RL and not the DB, worry not ;). The Clan RunOn is still ongoing with the second set of executive orders being issued from CON Arconae. I’d like to point out and congratulate VanWyck and many other Qel-Dromans for participating in this event and, of course, Wally for running the entire shenanigan. Right now, Wolf Guard stands ready to deploy via airborne insertion to the unknown planet for an all out assault to rescue the captured Sukhur’s Legion. 3) Kuga in Kommand – Due to sudden Real Life issues, venerable Quaestor Sanguinius Tscurya Entar has had to step down as Galeres QUA and swap positions with Aedile Cethgus Kuga. We should all wish Sang the best and hope that he comes back to us as fast as Dark Jedily possible as well as giving Cethgus a hearty congratulations on stepping up to the QUAship on such short notice. And yes, the K in Kommand was a purposeful spelling error.

4) CARCWT – Right about now, you must be saying “Wtf, Commander?”. Well, CARCWT (pronounced CARK-WUT in Zodese) stands for Clan ARCona Wiki Team and is the Clan’s endeavor, headed by Prelate Etah d’Tana, to take care of the Clan’s numerous wiki entries; making sure they’re accurate, grammatically correct, and able to provide members both new and old information on who we are, what we are, who we own, and what we do.

House Competitions 5) OH HUTT NO! – Yeah, it’s a cheesy Star Wars play on the phrase “Oh Hell No!” that you’re likely to hear in the ghetto or at your local high school, uttered by drama kings and queens. This is an “unorthodox fiction” competition, run by moi, for the entire House. It starts today and ends next Saturday, the time was shortened because it’s really a quick competition. A Clan-wide e-mail was sent out with details but here’s a link:

1) The Clan RunOn is in full swing! As previously stated, Wolf Guard is being picked up from Arconae Primus and ferried to Planet Unknown to perform an airborne assault on the Empire of the Hand’s base of operations that they just happen to be holding Tetrarch Inarya and Sukhur’s Legion inside. I’ll be posting today. But the deets are that we’ll be taking on the role of combat assistance to Luciferius Scyrone as he and his heavy-hitters, Black Hammer, charge through the gates. I know it’s not all out war but just remember this quote I picked up from Dragon Age Origins; “Flanking your enemies is important! No one’s going to remember how glorious your charge through the front gates was if you don’t live to tell anyone about it”

^A Tidbit of Me^ Ok, chapter 2 of a small glance into my Real Life. This week is going to be pretty big for me so if my mIRC time is affected, I apologize in advance. Events include meetings, my mother’s birthday, and of course Mother’s Day in a week and knowing me and my ADHD self, it’ll probably all seem a lot worse than it is in crunch time. But I’ll still maintain my 24 hr e-mail turnaround time and IRC presence, though it may go from 2 or 3 hours to jabout 1 to 1 and a half.
