Combat Master Report

Lots of news since the last Combat Master report, between organizational changes and some updates on our competitions. Read on to find out more.

The biggest organizational change since last report was obviously the appointment of Halc to the position of Voice of the Brotherhood. Congratulations to him, and I'm looking forward to seeing what we'll be able to do to keep building up the ACC.

More recently, we've had a resurgence I didn't expect, but I'm hoping will become a fixture of our activities. This past weekend I had the opportunity to run some test matches for ACCLive!, which I'm sure some of you will remember. For those who aren't familiar with it, Live! matches are 2+2 ACC duels run in "real time" over IRC. I'll be looking more into how interested people are in bringing Live! back both unofficially and officially.

The Journeymen and Equite Ladders are progressing, with the Equite Ladder being in its second round and the Journeymen Ladder in its final round. Sorry for the delay in judging the matches - I've had some computer issues over the past couple of weeks. Halc and Manji stepped up to get the last of the matches cleared out of the queue.

The next round of the Equite Ladders will begin on Wednesday, May 5 at midnight EST. Journeymen Ladder Matches will be opened tomorrow, Tuesday May 4 at midnight EST. This is to give those in the Equite Ladder who wish to update their character sheets time to do so.

Plans are still in place for the Co-Operative Competition and Championship League. Expect to see these released after the Ladders are finished. Depending on levels of interest, I am also looking at running an ACCLive! competition sometime within the next month.

That's all from the CM's Office this week. Stay tuned for more!

I know I will stay interested in the ACCLive! That was fun testing it out yesterday, I could get into that speed style.

Cool stuff Erinyes! I agree with Kano.. testing out ACCLive! was a lot of fun.. granted, nerve-wracking.. but fun still. I'm lookin forward to more of it and other ACC events!
