Quaestor Report

Sorry this report has come a little later than schedule, guys - but it's here now. Hope you all didn't miss me too much.

News:

Well, since my last report there's been a bit of a shuffle round in terms of the leadership at both Clan and House level, so in case some of you haven't read the other reports, I'll sum it up really quickly for you:

Taig ran away to the Dark Council, which was sad because it meant Manji lost his favourite playmate, but Sai stepped in to cheer him up and stop him from getting all emo about it. I'm sure you'll all agree that this is an awesome thing and hope that both Sai and Taig enjoy their new jobs.

Also, we had a bit of a reshuffle around in this House, too. Teu stepped up from the Bastion to take the office of Aedile. She's currently on holiday/in the process of graduating, but as soon as she's done with all that, I'm sure we'll all see much more of her. I'd also like to say a quick thanks to Raistlin for everything he's done as Aedile.

One of the consequences of this is that the Bastion is currently without a battleteam leader - Teu and I have a plan for that and we're hoping you'e all going to find it as awesome as we think it is. As soon as she's back from her holiday, you ought to hear more from us on that front.

As for other things of note: Taig is still looking for someone to boss around, but today is your last day to volunteer to be his Praetor. All jokes aside, if you've been considering it, you've not got long.

Unrest in the City is still happening! It's getting to the part where people are going to go after Deliverance, so check it out, if you haven't already!

Competitions and Things:

We have many!

Jeric is running a competition for those of you who are artistically inclined called Future Character Rendition, the Fist is doing a a<a href="http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/competition.php?id=5062>Battle Front Gaming Bash and would like some report headers, and the Voice is running three competitions to stretch your fiction writing muscles- All in Good Time, The End, and Something is Coming. A little closer to home, Doom Train is still going on and as always, you get shinies for taking part in Unrest in the City.

If that doesn't give you something to do, I don't know what will.

As for the shinies you lovely people have been racking up -

Tron got a Dark Side Scroll for being the Wikipedian of the month last month, Teu and Malisane got Legions of the Scholar for winning and coming second in last month's CNS Riddle competition.

Malisane, Vexatus, Teu and Locke all got two Clusters of Ice each for the run-on badassery they have displayed for the last two months and Teu earned a third one for her participation in the ACC Journeymen ladder.

Finally, Locke continued his one man crusade to making the rest of us look inactive - between my last report and now, he has earned his promotion to Jedi Hunter, qualified for the ACC, got first place in the Republic Commando tournament and earnt not only more Clusters of Fire than I've ever seen in my inbox in one go, but also a Crescent with an Amethyst Star for his trouble. He got another Crescent for getting first place for beating Fremoc to a messy pulp, er, I mean, beating him at gaming. Congratulations, Locke!

Also, a warm welcome to Apprentices Warrax Ka'an, John Stones, Odious, Ramp and Vincente Heartnet who all join us from the Shadow Academy. Welcome also to Calieta who joins us from the Shadow Academy, via Revan, due to a database mix up. We're glad to have you all and Calieta, we're terribly sorry the shuttle pilot was drunk and dropped you off on the wrong planet. Hope to see you all on IRC sometime!

Well, I think that's about everything for now. For those of you who got sick of hearing me whine at the end of my reports about being a long way from home, you'll be glad to know I'm back home now, but I'm getting my behind kicked by my dissertation, which is a little less good.

Til next time! Dyrra
