Sith Commander Report

** -> House Revan Aurek Cell Commander's Report #2 15 October 2010 <- **

Greetings, team!

It's been a while since my introductory report, which falls on me, but a lot has been happening in the mean time. Our first competition ended, which I will talk about later, and then the biggest news right now is the currently running rite of supremacy! Different format than usual, but still plenty of participation to go around, and participation is exactly what this team was created for!

State of Aurek

As you know, Lambow had to leave for the Rogues, which sucks, but we shall continue on. As such, that puts our current roster at five members. This is small, but I'm content because I know that we will continue to work together and increase our activity, especially in times like these when activity is needed more than ever. Still, Aurek's proposal allows for nine members, so if there is someone in the house who you have noticed very active, and would like to recruit them, by all means do! Five slots are currently open, they just have to send an email to myself and the house summit. The more the merrier, not that we won't have fun in the meantime.

Competitions

Results from our first Aurek competition: Korvyn and Tra'an, first and second respectively. Only two participants, when at the time there were six members on the team, so that's not too good, but we'll work on it after the vendetta. Meanwhile, the Aurek Cell Wiki page has gone live, so go check that out, and if you have ideas about how to improve those, shoot me an email. Wiki Page Clickey!

There is only one competition going on right now, and that is the Rite of Supremacy: Disorder, an Order War! That means three weeks of intense competition, of which we are currently in the last week. Personally, I feel like it is a bit biased towards gaming, and that there aren't enough writing events to even things out, but maybe that's me. There are writing events out there, since I know none of us care for gaming, so that means we can get out there and show ourselves. Each week there is a fiction piece, poetry piece, and then a few others, like this week's run-on. It's an interesting format... we'll see how it all works out...

RoS: Disorder!

News from the Outer Rim

Again, not much going on besides the Rite of Supremacy, so put as much focus as you can towards that... it ends in a week after all. We'll see what starts happening in the DB and House Revan once everything settles down. Besides that, Kir is still taking applications for the Chamber of Justice Appeals Panel. It's a pretty simple position, so put your name in if you're interested. I've been on it twice, and have yet to actually handle an appeal...

Conclusion

So yeah, that about sums it up for this report. Participation in our first competition wasn't the greatest, but perhaps the RoS will inspire more after it all ends. Besides that, the DB is pretty much focused completely on the vendetta, despite its faults. Make sure to participate as much as you can each week and show your stuff, for both Revan and your order.

That is all.
