# Battle Team Leader Report

## Sukhur's Legion of House Arcona

### 18 February 2011

Archer circled the chamber, pacing to the side with each new step as the topaz blade of his lightsaber rested before him. His opponent stood motionless, eyes watching as her violet blade waited at the ready, the illuminating glow blending with the crimson flesh of the Twi lek. Then with a flick of the wrist Inarya angled the blade to the side, her arms lifting as she charged. The blade arced downward, Archer bringing his lightsaber horizontal as the attack bounced off and then came at him again from beneath. His hands twisted the hilt as the blade danced to the opposite side, parrying the slash as he spun away defensively.

Good, Inarya said as the violet blade vanished into the hilt. You learn quickly.

Good teacher. Archer lowered his blade as it deactivated, clipping the hilt back to his belt.

Something is on your mind. Her inquisitive tone did little to mask itself. Has been since we got back from the prison.

I am stepping down. He brushed the beads of sweat from his forehead.

But why? She approached eagerly.

I need time to hone my abilities. A sigh escaped his lips. There is too much occupying my time. My mind. That last mission out showed me I still have much to learn if I am going to command.

If that is what you wish. Her expression did little for the surprise of his revelation.

Commander. A voice interrupted from the doorway, Cethgus stepping in from the corridor as he moved closer. You called?

Ah, perfect timing, as always. Archer turned to move toward his second in command. Yes, we have much to discuss.

I trust you have made a decision then? The Obelisk stood at the ready, hands folded behind his back as he watched Archer approach.

I have. Archer assumed a position beside Cethgus, the two stepping through the doorway as they continued into the corridor. Inform the summit I have made my decision.

INTRO

I begin my report with some bad news. Unfortunately after the official tally of the AWOL check we are down three members, but hopefully that just solidifies the active members and builds a stronger foundation for Sukhurs Legion to flourish. And considering we have two returning members, I would not be surprised if they were to rejoin us sometime in the future. I would also like to take this time to let you all know that while I will not be departing the Brotherhood or Sukhurs Legion, due to schedule conflicts with university and a lack of free time I will be stepping down to focus more time on studies. More on that to follow, but for now on with the report.

NEWS

Operation Haystack is still running strong and I encourage all to get out there and participate. Second phase has officially begun.
AWOL check is concluded, hopefully Arcona will achieve Clan status once more as a result.

ROSTER CHANGE

Vanwyck has rejoined our ranks. Congratulations VanWyck, and welcome back.
Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar has also rejoined Sukhurs Legion. Welcome back, always good to see a familiar face again.
Driftan Housan is no longer among Sukhurs Legion, transferred to Rogue due to AWOL check.
Llats Ordo has been transferred from the ranks of Sukhurs Legion to Rogue due to the AWOL check.
Du Maurier d Tana has also been transferred from Sukhurs Legion to Rogue due to the AWOL check.

I have seen activity skyrocket since I took over as battleteam leader about four months back, which I will be honest the trio I am about to mention had a big role in, and I can honestly say that it has been a blast. Particularly counting the ridiculous number of clusters of fire between Inarya, Cethgus, and Andrelious every time I file a report. But unfortunately I simply do not have the level of free time that I did back when I assumed this position, and I have always believed that the leader of a battleteam should represent activity in its truest form and serve as an example to the rest. While it is disappointing I will be stepping down at the conclusion of Operation Haystack so that whoever is chosen as replacement can do just that. It has been a pleasure leading you all, and I look forward to serving with you all in the future to come.
