Headmaster Report

The numbers were lower than ever before.

Ronovi could sense Taigikori's disappointment without looking at him. The glint of his new jaw had already been something she had to become accustomed to, as the two stood in his office looking over the numbers spinning across the hologram that Taigikori held in his palm. As the blue light subsided, the Headmaster placed the device back down on his desk as his voice, now gruff and unlike his original tone, rattled into the thick silence of the room.

"The Grand Master has plans for us. If the number of initiates we teach cannot move forward, there will be another strategy he will propose."

"Like the current project?" Ronovi asked, her artificial eye focused on the artificial lower half of her superior's face. Both of them were now relying on mechanics and technology to stay intact.

Taigikori nodded at Ronovi's remark. "There also appears to be...hostility nearing the Antei system. Hostility that I am finding hard to ignore. Unless someone else is ignoring it as well."

"Or using it to their advantage," Ronovi pressed. "Do you think Muz is preparing for something?"

"Not preparing..." Taigikori neared the viewing portal and stared out toward the near empty courtyard. "But perhaps he's preparing us. Perhaps he thinks enthusiasm is dwindling in our Brotherhood, and he wants to spur us on a bit."

Ronovi furrowed her brow at this remark, but the atmosphere in the room had shifted, sparking the implication that she had been wordlessly dismissed. She complied just as wordlessly, slipping out of the office and leaving the battered Headmaster to his own thoughts.

Hail and well met. Welcome to another report from the desk of the Headmaster. As promised, we have some goodies to announce. First off, congratulations to Naga Sadow, Tarentum, and Taldryan for their efforts in the tri-feud. I had the honor to help out a bit, and I'm always glad to see participation on a large scale. I've been watching member promotions climb to to above average since the delcine that started in mid 2009. Well done to the Summits for leading their flock and keeping with the program. As always, the Shadow Academy is here to assist in the education and promotions of journeymen.

The Antei Combat Center is one of the most important factions within this club, perhaps even more than the Shadow Academy. ACC Basics was a bit outdated, and needed an overhaul. Thanks to the VOICE and his staff, we have an updated and more effecient course for you all. With this updated course, members will have a firm grasp on the fundementals that make the ACC such a vital part of this club.

ACC Basics 2.0

Ever wondered what different Languages were out there in our universe? Sith, Ewok, even Binary? I'm proud to announce the release of Galactic Languages! Featuring 11 Languages, this Philosophy Department course is one of our most in depth and informative pieces that we offer. While we can't offer a Tolkien type course with every letter, we can give the history and some important phrases from each language. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed releasing it, it's also my featured course of the month.

Galactic Languages

With the need of coders, I got several emails with offers to step up to the plate. One Godsend was Windos, also known as Solari. He's done for me what I've been waiting months to do, and he did it in less than a day. For this, I've appointed him to the position of Magistrate to the Headmaster, and have further plans to use him as a DB coder overall.

Don't forget to CC my Praetor, Ronovi, on all SA related emails, especially degree requests. Degree requests that do NOT have my Praetor CC'd, will be thrown in the trash.

No Shadow Academy Competition this month, due to planning and saving the best for the IGs. Rest up, you're going to need it. The Brotherhood Draft was a huge success, I got flooded with Facebook pages and screen shots. I'll be rewarding the Scrolls of Indoctrinations in the next couple of weeks. My laptop is fried, so I'm using my iPhone to do all my Brotherhood work.

Projects, what's new? Everyone is asking me when this will be released, and I'll say it now for you all. It's all down to the coders, and we need every last programmer. I can speculate that we'll be in beta by late Fall, and be in full release by early 2012. The courses that I have written personally are nearly all finished, while I'm delegating certain ones to fellow Dark Council members, such as Rite of Combat Basics, Herardry, et al. The Grind Path will not simply be taking courses. We're going to have it built into the Brotherhood where you can game, ACC, and SA your way through the ranks. Keep an eye out.

Short report this month, my laptop was destroyed in flight from Charleston to Philadelphia, and my PC time is extremely limited to 30 minutes a day. Thank God for my iPhone. Enjoy the warming weather around the globe, and until next time, stay safe.

*Summary: -ACC Basics updated -Galactic Languages released -Grind Path...almost there...almost there... -Prep for IG2011 *
