_Marick's boots glided gracefully beneath his trailing white robes as he made his way through the Citadel's winding corridors. Anyone who crossed his path was offering a slight bow of respect or some form of congratulation or salute. The Hapan did his best to smile, wave, and shake hands with everyone he could. .

People knew who he was. He was kind of a big deal now.

He had always dreamed of being revered as the greatest duelist in the brotherhood, but this...was entirely different. Growing up in a Matriarcial society, Marick had only witnessed this type of respect. He could never have fathomed being treated in such a way by his fellow clansmen. In his mind, the only way to do that was through his exploits in battle.

Yet here he was, preparing to address not just a house, but an entire Clan.

Everything seemed to be moving so quickly. For months, the Battleteam Leader of Oblivion Brigade had worked tirelessly along side the Arconae and Summit to regain their Clan's honor and restoring it to it's proper glory. And then, just like that, all of the sleepless nights of proposal's, revisions, schemes, and ideas were rewarded. Arcona was a clan again.

The news had been a double edged sword for Marick Del'Abbot. He had known for months leading up to the fated decision from the Grand Master that this would thrust him into the role of Queastor for House Qel-Droma. To Marick, who built his name during his journeymen trials in that very house, there was no greater honor. It also signaled, though, that his incumbent role as Captain of Oblivion Brigade would be coming to an end.

There were few things Marick held closer to his heart than his Battleteam. With Timeros' ascension to Combat Master and continued duty as Rollmaster, he had moved on from Oblivion. Marick knew he had to do the same. He took comfort, though, knowing that the Black Ops team would be in capable hands.

In a surprise maneuver from the always calculative Hapan, Marick selected Legorii Entar as his successor as Captain. Many had speculated that his second in command, Talos Erinos, would take over as the new Battleteam Leader. Marick had other plans for his former Vice-Captain, though. Bigger ones.

Knowing that Oblivion would be safe in his combat partner's hand's, the Queastor had already shifted his attention's to now running an entire House. He wasted no time in setting things into motion. The most notable move was the selection of Dralion Fortea, a transfer from allied house Tarentum, as his new Aedile. While a newcomer to Arcona, Dralin's experience, knowledge, and connections were perfect for what Marick had planned. For in the Queastor's hand laid a data pad labeled "Port Ol'val Shadow Port". He couldn't help but hide his grin as he made his way through the great doors and into the main chamber hall. _##

Welcome to my first report as Quaestor of House Qel-Droma! As most of you know by now, I am Marick Del'Abbot, or as everyone tends to call me, Wally.

As mentioned in my previous address to Arcona, we will aim to have a Queastor report at the top of each month, followed by an Aedile report mid-month. My apologies for the tardiness of this report, my computer is being used for the project I'm working on and I was without it for two nights. Somehow, despite my dependence on my laptop, I survived. Regardless, I get e-mails on my phone and will continue to maintain as immediate of a reply and turnaround as I can. My phone is with me and on 24/7, so you should never have a problem getting in touch with me in some manner.

Anyway, I have a lot of cool stuff to talk about with all of you. As per the fictional intro, there are going to be some really awesome and fun changes going on as we make Arcona the BEST place to be an active member of the DJB.

We then have Hax Vseen, Umbradens, and Azerial joining us out of the Shadow Academy.

Activity is the heart blood of the brotherhood. We can not expect to grow as a Clan without the infusion of new blood. Please make sure to make every new member feel welcomed and part of the family!

So, there are a few things I'd like to talk about here.

__ Article I: The re-opening of Shadow Gate, and House Qel-Droma's new home. __

As mentioned previously, we have some exciting plans for the future of Qel-Droma. As we speak, Dralin, Talos, and the members of Shadow Gate are brainstorming and working on redefining the identity of their team. Ultimately, though, what they are working towards is relocation of House Qel-Droma's headquarters to a shadow port named Port Ol'val. The plan is for House Qel-Droma to move in an establish itself at the heart of the smuggler, criminal, and ruffian haven.

Everything is working on being finalized and tweaked and you should expect to have all the details in Dralin's mid-month Aedile report.

Needless to say, there will be an amazing opportunity for character development, and I hope that everyone will keep in open mind as we do everything we can to make House Qel-Droma a fun place to be.

_Article II: The Arcona Arena / Arcona Contract Bureau _

The Arcona Arena has been very quiet as of late. That is a result of the ACC evolving and advancing, thanks to the brilliant efforts of our new Combat Master, Timeros. As most of you know, the AA was originally created in a time of low turn around by a certain former Combat Master. Since that is no longer the case, the Arcona Arena is now going to be used specifically as a testing ground for future initiatives in the ACC. The most recent thing to come out was the Arcona Contract Bureau, which has taken off into one of the more popular activities in the Clan. With the excitement of re-clanning and the IG games winding down, expect the ACB to come back alive full force. More info can be found in the ACB wiki:
