Introduction

Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seatbelts. I'm in the driver's seat now, and we're in for a hell of a ride.

That being said, hi, I'm Legz. I'm confident that most of you know me by now, but I'll introduce myself again, if only because I like to talk about myself. I'm a firm believer in cooking by book, I don't have an English accent, I'm Arconan to the core, and I'm 273rd in the line of succession to the Iron Throne. I like the ACC, and will welcome any ACC challenges. I also like to win vendettas, which is why I'm here (that, and it was where I landed when I joined). Now that we're past the Independence Games and the bulk of the restructuring as a result of our shift to Clan status, I'll be taking a more active role in working with each of you to carve out your own niche in the Brotherhood, finding how you can best serve Arcona and how Arcona can best serve you.

I'm going to be trying to find time to meet with each of you one on one over IRC or email, whichever works better, at some point in the next week. I think I've spoken to all of you at least once since becoming BTL, but I enjoyed the first time so much, I want to do it again. So stay tuned for that, because it'll change your life! Other than that...good luck in your daily lives, go out into the world and make me proud!

Fictional Information

As you are by now aware, the shift to Clan status spurred some fictional changes in our Clan's background, trickling down to our House and Battleteam. The vision that has been outlined for Oblivion through the cooperation of myself, Dralin, and Wally is one where Oblivion is predominantly a black ops unit, specializing in assassination, interrogation, and investigation. In many ways this is a continuation of what was begun by Wally before the re-Clanning, with a few minor tweaks. New members will have to prove themselves capable of being a part of the team before they are invited to join, as we are attempting to establish a culture of dependability and quality within Oblivion.

To stay abreast of changes, keep your eyes glued to my reports, as I'll be reporting on every little detail that changes as we make this change in the Clan. Also, take a look at the wiki, that should help clear up any questions you may have. Click to view the wiki!

Medals

Somehow the Master at Arms messed up and forgot to promote all of us this week. Strange how something like that can fall through the cracks, but I guess it happens. However, he did drop off a nice little package in the form of Akhera, who is joining us from House Odan-Urr after deciding that the Light Side is gay. Be sure to give him a warm welcome, in the only way Arconans know how...now don't get the wrong idea, Strat, just say hi.

Oblivion did earn some sweet medals from the IGs, though, with Akhera and Strat each netting a Seal of Return! Congrats fellas, well earned. I also got twelve Seals, three Amethyst Crescents, and a Steel Cross. Leading by example, whoo! There are a lot of Brotherhaood wide events running at the moment to fill the post-IG vacuum, so you have a great chance to earn more medals in the coming days.

Brief Recap

Closing Thoughts

Thanks for the opportunity to be your BTL, I'm sure we can make this relationship work. However, the best way to make this relationship work is for each of you to do work, do your part for the Clan and yourselves. While that means something different for each of you, and is something that I will be discussing with each of you in-depth in our personal chat, Oblivion is not going to be a team populated by inactives and members with past glories. As one of the two Clans in the Brotherhood, and as a battleteam committed to being the best in those Clans, it is time for us to take our place as an example for the other teams.
