Clan Naga Sadow Sepros

The Nightsister blinked in confusion at what she'd just read.

"Frell!" The word echoed throughout the room.

Sanjuro looked up as he felt the heat roll off of his mother. She continued to look at the datapad in her hand and what was to be her next mission from the Irone Throne.

The younger Keibatsu silently questioned his mother; not wanting to exasperate her ire.

_'He wants me to go to Taldyran...as their Aedile.' _ Ashia started to pace in frustration as her mental voice reached out to her son.

She figured she'd be able to slip into more of a 'quiet' role after returning to Naga Sadow. Be able to hone her skills more. She had no issues with House Taldryan. But Aedile? Again? The Pontifex sighed heavily.

'I'll go with you.' Sanjuro's voice echoed in her head.

She turned to her son and looked at him; so much like his father now. Her eyes smiled at him, 'No, his orders are clear. You are to stay here and keep an eye on things. I'm to go to help strengthen the alliance. Also, what with the attempts on the FIST's life and the details of my last mission being leaked, he wants me out of Naga Sadow for awhile.'

Sanjuro nodded to her silently. They'd never worked apart like this before. Small missions here and there yes, but they'd always been part of the same unit, never separated. Ashia sighed again.

First Aedile Report in House Taldryan! w00t!

Ok, first, I'd like to apologize for the lack of sexy graphics here. I didn't have enough time to sort that out by the time my first report was due. As soon as I can though there will be banner graphics.

Well, the AWOL results are in and we are still here. Yay!!! Thanks to all of you that responded, even the Old Folks'. It is much appreciated

So...what have I been doing since taking over as Aedile? Well, I've been getting settled, helping our new RM and BTL do the same and poking Sid's brain mostly. I'm not sure there's much left to it. :-P

What are my plans? Well, as I stated in my introductory email, I will be sending out some emails to some of you. Those emails will be geared towards finding out what you like to do, need help with, don't understand, are pissed about, etc. I invite you to be as candid as you want. We can't improve unless we know what is wrong. Not just in Tal, but the DB as a whole. I had hoped to get those out this past week, but that didn't work out, so I will be sending them out this next week. Based on your response, that will help me figure out where my focus needs to be.

Well, we haven't had any new members in awhile as there has been a problem that Orv is working on. Hopefully, he'll have that fixed soon.

Promotions! I'd like to personally congratulate Bane Valance for making it to Novice since I took on the mantle of Aedile. Your journey is just beginning towards knighthood, my young friend. I look forward to seeing you advance through the ranks.

Awards! Rigar Ulrand has won himself a bunch of CF's

Ben and Shadow have both earned Dark Side Scrolls for co-authoring August's featured article in the wiki. The Old Folks' Home. Who said that old folks weren't active anymore? Way to go Ben, my hat is off to you. Shadow, congrats as well!

Shadow Taldrya has also earned a Steel Cross for all his work in aiding Taldryan in anyway he can. He games, he does comps, vendettas, wiki articles, SA courses (is there anything this guy doesn't do?). Thank you Shad for all your contributions. I salute you with a thrust, my friend. ;-)

Competitions! There are quite a few of them. I've been looking at them myself, trying to find something fun to do. Not certain yet, but the Spy one of Halc's looks intriguing.

Well, that's it for now. It's been a quiet week. Sid asked me to do a report every two weeks so I hope in the next two weeks there will be more stuff going on. Oh!
