So...GJW X is right around the corner! I don't know about you, but I'm excited as hell! Ok so for those of you that have never been through a war, there's one little tidbit that a lot of people (even the old farts :-P) might forget.

FIELD PROMOTIONS!!

Yes! That's right, kids! The Grand Master has been known to promote people on the field of battle during GJW's and will do so again if you are worthy. Some have even jumped ranks before. I've seen Guardians jump Jedi Hunter and get Knighted before! How cool is that?

"Miss Ashia! Miss Ashia! What do I have to do to deserve a field promotion?"

Good question. For starters, you have to participate in the GJW events. You have to compete to earn a Field Promotion, plain and simple. Secondly, domination. If you are good at gaming, game your ass off! Fiction, I want to see some epic prose. And I don't use that word lightly...epic. so it'd better be something special. Basically, they are looking for those that are enthusiastic enough to put their all into thier submissions.

And don't forget to copy ALL of your submissions to [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. That is how you will get credit from us (your awesome submit!) for participation. So even if you don't get a field promotion, your efforts will still count towards your next promo.

Actually, no I didn't, but truth be told, we talked to the powers that be and well...it was just a little too close to the war for us to execute what we wanted to so...

Awards! So, we have had a lot of awards this passed couple of weeks! I'm very excited to be able to report this actually. Our wonderful RM had a couple of comps running recently that seemed to have resulted in a lot of crescents! So, without further adieu....
