Aedile Report

The stars above shone with a silent intensity while Drodik lay with a fire to his side. The kindling snapped and crackled as he ruminated on the state of the house and Menat Ombo.

How had it come to this?

It wasn't hard to pin down a reason why things out of their hands. They were too few, too ill prepared and far outmatched in the face of the "Dark horde" as the Tythonians called the Brotherhood. Those monsters descended with their armies and Sith creations snuffing out the living peace that is Harakoa. Now swathes of land lay barren, littered with the corpses of unknown victims and the machines of war.

Drodik displaced his perspective as he tried to reform in his mind the image of scorched face of the planet from above and silently wept inside. A few days prior he had taken The Epsilon, his YT-1760 into orbit to survey the planet from above. The face of the planet remained but was littered with several smoldering pockmarks, the footsteps of the Brotherhood.

~~Days Later~~

Drodik strode up the steps leading into Ooroo Abbey, bypassing the first of several maimed colonnades before emerging into the illuminated central keep of the cathedral. The sound and presence of water leaking down from the damaged dome above added a meditative effect as several groups of Jedi sat in silence in various areas of the "new" transept turned atrium.

He sat at one of the benches, his saber hilt thudding on the wood. The Nagai relaxed his head for a moment, his consciousness drifting off until a moment later he was joined by the Rollmaster Jendan Aybara.

"Aedile" She said as she nodded.

Drodik smiled back, he paused a moment before speaking,

"Will you summon everyone?"

Jendan nodded as Drodik continued,

"I think it's time I addressed the House."

Hey everyone, time for my first report as your Aedile, yay!

I wanted to congratulate everyone once again for the outstanding effort you put forth during the war. Fifth place isnt as illustrious as others but we still kicked a decent amount of ass and held our heads up high. As with any major Brotherhood event there is a time frame following where we all relax a bit and recoup our senses, I'm not sad to say that rest time is over >:D Mwaha!

=House News=

The Summit has decided that we're pushing along and advancing our Houses fictional storyline over the next few weeks and we need everyones help. I'll be releasing a story arc shortly which will dictate what and how certain events happen in the aftermath of the War.

The story arc itself will be released in a series of three or possibly four installments which will coincide with competitions centered around the story. Your job is to put yourself in the story and who knows, with certain competitions your winning entry might even be made canon, we'll see.

I'll have more info available to you on that in the next few days.

=Competitions= Until I learn how to code my reports (Anyone wanna teach me the basics?) I'll just tack on the address of the competitions I mention. If thats too much copying and pasting for you, then log in to the site, go to the competitions page and click 'Stuff That matters to Me' and get busy. If even that is too much work for you...then I have no hope for you :P

Conclusion: It' s been a crazy past couple of weeks, what with finals and my new paintings and watching a family member in the hospital (which happens to be where I'm writing this) but I just wanted to say how thankful I am to be Aedile of you all. You're a badass group of DBers and I've gotta say some of the best I've had the chance to Aedile for. I know Im getting all mushy, but this is the light-side house or w/e so its ok :D
