Week of Celebration

Greetings my Dark Brethren!

Today is a glorious day! Today we mark the one year anniversary of our Independence from the tyranny that besieged this organization for years. In one great moment a year ago, the destiny of this group changed from one of despair and destruction to one of dominance and power. Our freedom has brought us the ability to work on the things which before we could only dream of. This Brotherhood has been given the ability to prosper, and prosper it has.

Through the hard work and determination of our Jedi, we have strived to make this organization a better place; where freedoms are not stifled, ideas are not disgarded, and members are allowed to prosper at the rate in which they are entitled. We have worked hard, brought in many great changes, but in this short year we have only scratched at our potential. With a new year upon us, it is the duty of every Jedi here to strive toward higher goals, push toward greater success and dominate the world in which we exist.

But for today, we look toward a Week of Celebration. Take these next days and relish in what we have become. Look toward the future, and prepare yourselves for another great year.

We open this week with the annual Independence Games. You are all encouraged to participate in this.

Look for more announcements as this week progresses!

In Darkness,
His Emminence,
Lord Jac Ae-Sequiera Cotelin Taldrya-Cantor
Deputy Grand Master

Is the link right? I just keep getting the "Just a few hours to go..." thing.

Have you tried a hard reload (CTRL-Refresh) ? The page was changed to be the real start page.

I got it. the redirect didn't work yesterday - I refreshed a bunch and even canned my history and it still didn't work - but I got the full URL from Arania, right to the main page, so, I'm good. Thanks

It seems the problem was the file date - the actual pages were older than the ones I had made to cover them up before the start, and when the browser was confronted with an older file, it didn't load it, believing it already had the most current version. I edited the three renamed files by adding a space and saved again, so they should not confuse any more browsers.

BTW: clearing the history won't force an unconditional reload, only clearing the browser cache (Temporary Internet Files in IE) will.

Isn't it amazing that we became our own entity on Independence day? Quite a coincidence...
