Aedile Report

New Aedile

Hi, guys!

First off, my apologies for getting this report in one day late! I legitimately just lost track of time, and let's be real here - it's been quite a while since I've written up a report, let alone a house summit report. I know this breaks a mean streak of nine reports released on time, so I'll be sure to break the record next month.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Ronovi Tavisaen, and I am the new Aedile of House Plagueis. Having served as Consul and Quaestor of Tarentum, I can safely say I am stoked to work with this unit as a leader again. Some of you may also recognize me as Headmaster, but now I'm here, getting everyone pumped up for awesomeness in Plagueis. Let's get this report started.

Fictional Update

Tra'an has recently released a fictional update for Plagueis that goes further into detail about our departure from the Jusadih System and our taking over of Ord Pardron. Later on, you'll see how yours truly wound up on the Ascendancy and get to see other Plagueians be all BAMF and stuff. For now, however, check the update here.

Independence Games

The games. They're coming up. Very soon, in fact. They will last two weeks, from the 13th to the 26th of April. Meaning you've got another week to prepare for it.

Let me give you a basic run-down of the games. Many people will inform you that it's based on individual success over unit success. This is technically true. The top victors of the IGs will receive special rewards and honors. I myself was Champion of the 2011 Independence Games, placing first in five events. I also got to judge one event as Praetor to the Headmaster.

One thing you have to remember about the Independence Games, however, comes down to one word: Glory. This isn't just an opportunity to prove how extraordinary you are as a member. It's also a chance to show any naysayers how Plagueis can roll with the punches. I want each and every one of you to participate in these games to the best of your ability. They don't come around all that often, and when they do, the rewards are a-plenty. This is yet another chance for us to show the rest of the Brotherhood that we, the Ascendant House, are not to be taken lightly.

I am always around to assist anyone with tips and techniques to do your best in the games. This includes writing tips, motivation and encouragement, and proofreading techniques. Don't hesitate to contact me, your BTL, and/or Tra'an. Trust me, we want to see you succeed.

Let's dominate the IGs, guys!

Promotions

We've seen a few excellent Plagueians earn promotions for their stellar work in the house. I will take the time to acknowledge each one.

First, Arden Karn. As head of the battle team Karness Muur, Arden has not only brought real fictional meat to the house, but he has also stirred up energy and work from his team. He also did one killer job in the Dark Crusade, placing in several events. Because of his leadership and his talent, he was promoted to Sith Warrior.

Second, Teylas Ramar. His honorable work as XO of battle team Ajunta Pall gained much notice from his higher-ups. Ajunta Pall, as a battle team, showed more activity and snatched more Novae than some of our sister houses combined during the Dark Crusade. His writing talent, enthusiasm, and leadership earned him a promotion to Sith Warrior.

Last, but certainly not least, Kuro Kogarasu. This promotion has been a long time coming. Not only has Kuro shown consistent presence and activity throughout his feud and vendetta work spanning four years, garnering various accolades for it; but he has also worked tirelessly as a leader. He showed prowess as BTL of Primus Pilus back in 2012, and recently he has shown excellent work during the Dark Crusade. With all of his merits combined since his last promotion, Kuro got the promotion he had been patiently waiting for: Obelisk Prelate.

Congratulations to all three of these remarkable Equites, and thank you for your extraordinary dedication to Plagueis.

In Closing

As I said earlier, in a week, the Independence Games will begin. As such, I have a goal for all of you. I want to see each and every one of you on the Plagueis roster try to participate in every single event you are strong in during the Independence Games.

Yes...you heard that right...every single one you are strong in. There will be multiple competitions, hosted by the various leaders of the Dark Council and the clan and house summits, for everyone to participate in. Now, there will be a lot of events, so I want all of you to throw your weight into those events that you feel most confident in. Put in your best work. Try your hardest. Even if in the end, you miss a good chunk of competitions, you will emerge from the games with rubble at your feet. I myself will be working to participate in every event I'm strong in, save for the event I myself will judge. So will the rest of the summit. We can do this. We have done it twice now, in both phases of the Dark Crusade. Now it's time to blow every other clan and house out of the water.

I think that's a good ending to my very first Aedile report in...geez, a while. This is Ronovi, signing off.
