General News:
To start this report off, we would like to take the time to say good job! Some awesome work was done by everyone this round of Dark Crusade. We know that it was a harder time than what it has been before, but we still saw the Clan and House take on Plagueis and Tarentum. Now, it’s come to an end, at least for the next two months; but what does this mean for us?
Well, it means that it’s not over ‘til it’s over, guys. Yes, we’re all tired. Take these months to rest up and enjoy yourselves--but remember we don’t just do Vendettas. We have seen a steady level of activity coming from all of you recently and we want to see the drive and push that we have always had in Arcona continue. We are still one of the most active Units in the Brotherhood and we still want to see that. Let’s pick up activity on IRC, reply to emails when we can, anything, guys. We need to continue to be strong as we have been throughout this year, not just in competition, but as a Clan and as friends. We know real life can be busy and/or kick the shit out of you--we do. We’re not asking you to turn into activity machines of pull off miracles; but just to be around.

Recently, we’ve said a fond farewell to Ronnie and Slag, who have retired from their positions. What’s that mean? That Plaguies leadership roles are now open to application. A bit quieter on the medal front this time, since we’ve not yet got the results of all your amazing effort in the last Crusade round, and thus cannot yet shower you all in shiny awards or showcase you like the star children you are. However, we do have some accolades to give! ;) So congrats to everyone and good work. We would like to say though during the resting period there will be time for you to get some easy competition medals. so just keep an eye out. In our last report, we saw a certain Journeyman of Galeres climb his way past PRT and JH and eagerly awaited his steps into Knighthood. He has been constantly driving himself forward through the ranks and we knew that this time would come. We have honestly appreciated all his hard work and effort that he has put into House Galeres and Clan Arcona since joining us.
With that being said, well, here we are! A big hand to Kordath, who has been promoted to Dark Jedi Knight! Congratulations, Matty, and welcome to the ranks! Great job!

Well, the Journeyman Hall certainly seems to be a major hit, because once again you all have flooded our inboxes with activity. Look at you people! There’ll be degrees everywhere soon. Despite the ongoing Dark Crusade, the haul that we have seen coming from you all has been outstanding.
We would like to take the time to thank each one of you for your hard work. Seeing so much interest from everyone in the new Department exams is wonderful. Keep it up!

In the way of transfers we really haven't seen much happen; however, due to the recent appointment of a new Battleteam Leader, we’ve seen one veteran join our ranks, as well as seeing a newer member come into the fold. We would like to welcome both these people into House Galeres and the new recruit into Arcona. We hope you enjoy your time with us and look forward to seeing what work you do.

SWL Nadrin has transferred from Qel-Droma to Galeres.
Stuart: I know that this one has been a quiet one for most of us, but I would like to take the time to say that we need to continue to work hard and achieve the top of our game. I know that we need to continue to work together, and continue to build on the history of this great House. As well as working inside of Clan Galeres. This message goes for anyone, experienced or new, who want to continue to progress and help them working to their goals. Myself and the Summit will support you, we will help where we can, all anyone has to do is ask us. We are willing to make sure that you get what you want and that we can provide work. My door is always open catch me on IRC, via email or any way that you want We will get back to you ASAP.
Abbey: A little while ago I sent out an email asking how y’all were, where you were, and just generally how you were doing. I know we got some mixed responses there, from business, to serious issues, to WoW addicts (I know, Kat, I do. :P I was/am one). Similarly, Stu sent out word to all our Equites asking after their concerns, but got no reply. I just want to remind you all of two things:
One, we can’t help you if you don’t tell us things. Communicate! You don’t have to tell us your life story if you don’t want to. If you’re swamped with RL, just dropping a one-word email of “Busy” works. But most of all, if you’re feeling used/abused/generally aren’t happy, talk to us. Secondly, just enjoy yourselves. This is a club, where you’re meant to have fun and chill out with the rest of your nerdtastic friends--not stress the heck out. Communicate and enjoy yourselves, that’s all we’re asking.
