Team Plagueis,

I would like to take a brief moment of your time to introduce both myself, and Sith Warlord Dacien Victae, as your new Quaestor and Aedile. We are humbled by this opportunity and look forward to leading House Plagueis through this time of transition in pursuit of continued greatness.

As a student of history, I am well aware of the events, past and present, which have brought us to this point. Not unlike our noted historical struggles with internal strife, the Crimson Tide, Aerunian Resistance Movement, and Yuuzhan Vong, we have again been called upon to fight for survival. However, in this instance the survival I am speaking of is that of the honor and integrity of House Plagueis. In the spirit of unhealthy competition decisions were made that potentially compromised how we are perceived. However, the proud history and promising future of this organization will not be defined by the actions of a few individuals. Conversely, our commitment to excellence, perseverance in the face of adversity, and dedication to honorable success will be our war cry and history will remember that win or lose we did it the right way. Below I will utilize our House motto to highlight both my intent and course of action to meet this intent.

ADAPT.

A signature trait of a successful organization is its ability to adapt. However, let me be perfectly clear on a few things, this transition and the current state of House Plagueis is not a Dictum of Two Skies scenario. This unit is not in shambles, nor are we divided. Subsequently, there will be no rising from the ashes speech. House Plagueis is a capable and competent powerhouse within the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. As evidence to this, is your success to date in the Dark Crusade. This success is a true testament to the level of expertise, teamwork, and professionalism that exists within Plagueis and from this point forward I will do everything in my power to build on the momentum you have worked so hard to attain.

Which brings me to my next point; there is nothing that I would expect from you that I would not expect from myself. In terms of professionalism there may be those out there questioning my recent transfer from Clan Arcona. I will be the first to tell you that any perceived legacy allegiance to Arcona is nonexistent. As a Captain in the Army who has led soldiers in combat for the better part of the last 10 years I understand esprit de corp. I am thankful for my time in Arcona where I met many great leaders who provided invaluable mentorship to me during my time there. It is important to never forget where you came from or those who invested their time and effort to get you there. However, in the spirit of healthy competition I fight under a new flag now, a flag which I will carry proudly into battle alongside all of you. Let there be no doubt as to my commitment to House Plagueis from this point forward.

ASCEND.

A vision is a simple yet powerful tool that I will use to convey what I believe House Plagueis stands for moving forward. The simple statement of, House Plagueis takes care of its members by promoting a fun, positive, and cooperative environment where all members are important, is a viable start point. At the end of the day the Dark Jedi Brotherhood is for fun and enjoyment and the leadership of House Plagueis is here to help maximize your experience.

In an effort to support this vision you can be certain your voice will be heard and your opinion will be respected. Leadership and initiative are inherent traits and I do not seek to stifle your creativity with either. Subordinate leaders will be given the freedom to lead and take initiative. I am a simple representative of the House and we will work within the construct of an effective chain of command to convey questions, comments, and concerns. Ultimately, we are a team, when I speak it will be based on your feedback with your best interest in mind.

AVAIL.

The Dark Crusade is at a pause and we are currently in an assess and consolidate phase. With our recent losses in personnel, recruitment efforts and developing our current roster will be paramount to our continued success. I ask that each and every one of you diligently pursue opportunities to welcome new members to the team and seek professional development opportunities. Remember success is contagious and as our numbers and participation grow so will those who want to become part of a winning integrity based organization.

In the weeks to come the House leadership will be unveiling a number of initiatives. These include House level competitions, a revised master/student program, and fictional developments. In addition, we will be eliciting feedback in regards to your expectations for the DJB, House Plagueis, and me as your Quaestor. Your candid feedback is requested so that we can address any concerns you may have. Dacien and I did not assume leadership roles within House Plagueis to burn down the walls and start from scratch. On the contrary, we transitioned to serve by your side, paying homage to the past and working towards forging our future identity. We are not just Satal Keto. We are not just Exar Kun. We stand united as House Plagueis.

In conclusion, I would like to finalize any discussion on the events that led to the removal of the previous Summit. These events are behind us and we are moving on. I see no reason to condemn those who have left. I am appreciative of all they did for the House and wish them nothing but the best in the future. I would encourage you all to do the same.
