Introduction

Hello good-looking,

If you saw Liam's announcement on the mailing list, or conversation in other email threads since, or even stopped in to the house's IRC channel #odan-urr : you would have likely been informed that I am the new Rollmaster for House Odan-Urr! (Yay! I can hear you saying). At this time I would like to publicly thank Tur'el for his service in this role, there is many things he and I have talked about while he was Rollmaster that I will insure to carry on for him as he did bring a great many ideas and projects to this role.

Who am I?

My character name is Lyze Kiel. My real name is Brett (and yes, you guys can call me such).

My character has been in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood since the Sixth Great Jedi War, actually a little before this on the curtails of the pirate affair. Born on Corellia to pair of nerfherders, Lyze made every attempt he could to not end up with the live of a farmer and in his teen years he was mixed up in a Corellian resistance movement against the New Republic, where he was involved in their spice dealing business which financed their lobbying. Once down the rabbit hole, it really isn't hard to get mixed up with the wrong people before he ended up in the Brotherhood and his adventures took off.

As for the real me, I have been in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood for over nine years now. I have held 2 separate dossiers over this time (hence the inaccurate and incomplete current dossier - these were not at the same time, please note) where I originally joined the DJB as a young, passionate, and thick-headed Sith known as Warhunter (I play my characters really close to reality :P). Later I left the DJB and had my dossier deactivated because WoW was all the rage and apparently I was weak like that :P However, I soon returned to the DJB to start anew as the baboonish tempered Raiju Kang, which I have seen through to my time here in HOU where I am now Lyze Kiel.

In my years here, I have

• held other names over the years; such as Arawn & Ryujin
• been a member of 3 different DJB families: Entars, Xylers, and Corsairs
• Been through the journeymen ranks and to Equite 2, twice now
• held several DC assistant positions for the Shadow Academy, Herald, and Lord Hegomony (or whatever the heck Kaiann was called)
• I have been in several clouses, seeing 1 merge, 1 close, and 1 open (Yay HOU!)
• Served in each position between BTL and PCON, and beside PCON I have been in each of those roles multiple times for each
• And, been through 5 Great Jedi Wars, and the numerous vendettas and feuds between them

Who am I outside the DJB? I am soon to be 27 years old (Oct 10th, yo!), I live on a farm just west of a city known as Stratford, in Ontario, Canada. (Go ahead and make a Beiber joke, just remember I not that light sided :P) My primary job is actually working for a college as a Youth Employment Counsellor, though I still work on the farm regularly (which we just started a vineyard on 4 years old). Wanna know more? Just ask!

What will I do as Rollmaster?

I have held the position of Rollmaster a number of times throughout my DJB career and it has always been a little different depending on the unit. One thing is clear though and that will be my focus:

I'm going to be your ace in the hole

A Rollmaster's focus has always been on helping those in need and providing guidance to those that want it. Obviously the Journeymen of the DJB are the ones we need this the most but the Rollmaster's duty doesn't stop there in my eyes and as such I invite everyone to contact me regarding the above, no matter the rank. In the meantime, expect my announcements and reports to focus on the activity you guys are pumping out and on strategies to help you guys further yourself in the DJB.

Conclusion

That's all for this week guys! Just wanted to introduce myself and point you towards what to expect from me. As I get up to speed you will see much more in this report, but you too can have an impact! Your activity will be helping fill this report and I'll always be on the look out for the top person in hopes of giving them something extra! ;)
