In the final days of the IGs I feel it is my duty to remind some of you of what's at stake:
Clan placings within the Independence Games WILL affect your initial standings in the GJW.
You clans that haven't been focusing on this should step it up...

Errr, not to sound like a dick....was this whole 'standings' thing one of those things our Consul was supposed to tell us about so that we'd actually DO the Events?
First I've heard of this too. <shrugs> Oh well.</shrugs>
Even if you heard this today for the first time - remember that the Clan standings depend solely on the number of first, second and third places, so you could conceivably each do a substantial number of the smaller events even if five days without too much strain on your time. Or just split responsibilities in the Clan and everyone do one or two more of the larger ones with some effort in it. 10 people doing 2 events each is a potential 20 gold medals for the Clan if you don't overlap.
I can't believe this.
No offense intended to the creators of the IG, but this competition was the worst piece of bad comedy I've ever seen. Quite frankly I had no interest in participating to any stupid comical acc fights or any other dumb competitions. Quite frankly I only clicking on the jac one because it were three clicks, else I wouldn't have bothered.
Thats FOR ME. I understand some and probably more then half the db liked this, but on the other end the other half who couldn't care less for the poor comedy and like seriousness didn't bother participate are penalized in the GJW.
THE BLOODY GREAT JEDI WAR. This is THE COMPETITION OF COMPETIONS and you start people off with standings from a COMICAL COMPETITION. Again I'm not trying to insult anyone who liked the IG. Just the fact they are two unrelated competitions.
This just penalizes members like me and clans stuck with people like me. I wouldn't have fun participating in the comedy stuff and the point of the DB is having fun. Can't you just seperate the IG from the GJW. One competition is one competition.
This would be like saying CSK starts ahead of Arcona in the GJW because they won the Justice Feud.
