Updated 10Nov2013: No Planet Restrictions & Dark Crusade Gaming Activity Submissions

10Nov2013 Update:
Lots of feedback over the last 36 hours or so about the limitations based on opponents needing to be from the opposite planet. While we've seen a decent amount of matches submitted so far (around 80 matches, with 13 participants from across the Brotherhood) the amount of sitting around and waiting for matches in #dbGaming is a little silly.

Duels against anyone from a different Clan or Independent House are now authorized.

Wanted to let everyone know that the competition which you select when submitting Gaming Activity for the Dark Crusade is not important. Since each PVP match is including individuals from both planets I'll be going through all the results manually at the end of the round to determine participation and who won each planet.

Feel free to leave any questions in the comments below, I have family in town this weekend so my actual screen time on IRC is limited.

Poor DKers......

I shall be the one to say this.

Gaming this chapter won't be fun. Arcona, Tarentum, CNS and Plag are all on one planet.

That's most of the gamers unable to play each other. We've all been playing one poor HOUer at Pazaak just to get participation. :(

I'll be around later tonight and tomorrow for Lvl 15 TOR Duels

Why are we only allowed to fight other planet? Any house should be open. Only exception is own house.

That's how it's been all through the Crusade.

As Cethgus pointed in #DBGaming, the event has just started. So far we have been unable to do much, but this may change over the days. Give it some time guys, I'm sure the DC is looking at what we're doing and if they see that something is wrong they'll try to change it for better. I admit is hard to stay around all day to see if someone from DK appears and see almost no one, but it's just Saturday. Two weeks to go and things might change a lot during the competitions. For now let's stay cool and joke about it :P

I'll look around for my JA disc.

I've a question - does regular gaming still occur during vendettas? Since some of us are playing so many "practice" pazaak rounds lol

Two rounds ago we made an exception where everyone could game freely, Malik. We've had this problem we see now pop up repeatedly for the past year. Last round, gaming participation only required a member to earn one CF (in any tier-1 platform) to qualify as being a part of the DC which helped things greatly. Now it's going to again be the case of me pleading with members from Tal, HOU, or HSP to give one of my journeyman a single round of a game so they can get their participation credit. At least when we had 3 planets it was spread a bit more, but this is reminiscent of the first two rounds. Just thoughts/observations, I haven't had a chance to hop into #dbgaming yet
