Galactic Starfighter Launch!
Hey Everyone,
So today we saw the early release of the Galactic Starfighter expansion as part of the ToR Update. I have to say it will take some getting used to but I finally got their and I have to say I am over the moon with it. For those of you that are a subscriber you can access this amazing bit of game play right now, as well as get a few goodies for doing so, I put a small screen shot below on showing you the customization of the ship that you can do.
As well as this it does mean that the PvP feature is now available for those of you that are raring to go, for this the Fist Office has put in place another selection choice. When going into PvE activities, look for the Galactic Starfighter option, this is where you want to be submitting all of your entries to. Galactic Starfighter matches award 1 Cluster of Fire each, win or lose! So be sure to snap those screenshots when you finish.
With the main big bang out of the way I want to throw a shout out here. Anyone that needs adding to the lightside or darkside guild in ToR feel free to hit myself or Valkish up on IRC or Email. Alternatively please feel free in game to /create brotherhood and ask there, we will do our very best to get you added to the guild.

Joystick capable?
Not joystick capable. Wouldn't work with the style of flight anyways.
Been playing it all night, it's pretty damned fun.
Definitely takes some getting used to. Will hopefully be able to play around with it more tomorrow.

Love this expansion. I suck at the gunboat though :/ scout fighter is way more fun anyways.
Scout fighter is where it's at. Reminds me a lot of freelancer and the Freeworlds mod for that, albeit a lot sharper in terms of the graphics. Hella fun
Yeah, if you've played something like Freelancer than you should be fairly comfortable with this game. I've probably played about 4 games and while I have quite a bit to go to get comfortable with it, I did have fun. I'm hoping they can really expand this portion of the game because I do enjoy it, and would love to see some more variety. I'll gladly just play this over the regular TOR stuff
