Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this post to inform you that the beloved House Plagueis RM Famosus Aspicio has submitted his resignation due to the real life constraints. In every sense of the statement, he was the right guy at the right time for the organization. Upon being honorably discharged from the Army where he served bravely as a Combat Engineer, often in harms way, Fam came back home to the DJB as so many do throughout their life. He found a place to call home again in House Plagueis.
Despite all odds often associated with a workforce transition, Fam was fortunate to find a new job much quicker than anticipated. Certainly, a lose for us but an accomplishment that speaks to the hard work and dedication we came to expect from him.
Congratulations Fam, you will be missed. You have become a friend and confidant to so many in your time back. I for one am fortunate to count you amongst my own friends and would like to thank you for being a consummate Battle Buddy.
BUT WAIT….all is not lost. Luckily for us, Fam will still be available on IRC and has assured me he will remain a active member of the DJB community. HOORAY!!
Now on to business…
Applications for the Vacant House Plagueis RM position are due to Bubba and Montresor by way of email NLT 29DEC13.
I want to make it very clear that much will be expected of the individual who is selected. For all the debate of what a RM does and does not do, I can tell you that your role within House Plagueis is critical to our success moving forward and your application should reflect the necessary level of professionalism and commitment you will bring to the job. You should view this as a long term endeavor as the members of House Plagueis deserve the continuity and consistency associated with a stable Summit.
Please include the following in your application: A brief synopsis of who you are and how your selection to this position will benefit the team, a proposed course of action for developing the Rollmaster position considering the Master/Student program, New member integration, and House Project Management. Aside from that, I trust the most qualified applicant will take the initiative to expound upon this list as they find it necessary. Best of luck to all prospective applicants.
