"Understood", Kaiann said at the holographic image. "I wished you still had the time, but your duties to your Clan definitely take precedence. I will always hold you in good memories, you have been one of the best we had in this job."
"Thank you, Headmaster, It was a pleasure to serve with you", the image of Sharad replied before bowing and fading out.
A few seconds of silence hung in the still incomplete, but technologically fully equipped 13th floor tower office of the Headmaster overlooking the construction efforts on Lyspair. Then, Kaiann pressed a button.
"Get me my Praetor, please."
"Aye aye."
It took less than two minutes for Spears to arrive. The Praetor's own office on the twelfth floor was still a mess of cables and materials, so Spears had had to take an elevator from his temporary placing in the sixth - or, as the heaving chest betrayed, run up the stairs.
"You're keeping in shape", the Headmaster said. "That's a good thing. However I didn't call you in to get you some exercise - we will need to put out the call for a new Eclectic Pedagog."
"Cyberguy ?", Spears asked.
"Nope, he's still doing well. But Clan Taldryan needs Sharad to train their guard and thus, he had to resign his commission for Obelisk Core. So, if you'd please put out the usual call for applications - and reschedule the Obelisk Core to Wednesday block 2 and Friday block 7, I'll take care of these myself until we have a new teacher."
Spears nodded and bowed.
"Dismissed."
Half an hour later, the communications facilities of all Clans had received the message:
"The Shadow Academy is looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Eclectic Pedagog of the Obelisk Core curriculum. Excellence in passing this course as well as extreme timeliness in teaching and grading are required, a rank of at least Guardian and membership in the Royal Guard are strong pluses. Salary is per section 1(E) of the Brotherhood auxiliary pay table, to be increased to 1(G) status after three months in office. Standard applications are to be submitted to the office of the Headmaster and his Praetor"
It was just hours later that the first applications hit Kaiann's and Spears' desks. It was good to know that the Brotherhood had so many active and talented individuals.

Sharad has resigned from EP for Obelisk Core due to lack of time. I thank him for a jub extremely well done and a medal will be in the mail.
With that, applications for that job are open. You must have passed Obelisk Core with 80% or better and have a grading response time of 48 hours or better. It would be nice to have a GMRG member and someone with at least some experience, GRD or higher. Interest in improving the course can never hurt either...
Send apps to Spears and myself - and folks too lazy to look up the email addresses themselves are not really the ones we're looking for, so grab them yourself :)
We have an auxilary pay table? :P
I guess so...never mind the tertiary redundancy clause in the contracts... :P
