ACC Deathpost extension

All matches that have come to the point where there is a deathpost needing to be made will have 2 days to complete those posts. All open battles remaining will be closed Tuesday at 11:59 PM EST

Jac

Just like in Phase II, this applies to those matches where there is one Deathpost remaining to be made. Those with both deathposts missing are finished, just as they were in Phase II.

This part here:
"All open battles remaining will be closed Tuesday at 11:59 PM EST"

Does that mean we have until then to finish ANY battles or just those which require the deathposts?

No. Battles that have not gotten to the deathpost at all, will be closed. Only those battles that have one deathpost done will remain open to give the opponent a chance to complete the battle - Tuesday 2359

So, if a battle has an intro by the judge and one/two posts - it gets closed now.
If a battle has all but the remaining deathpost - it will stay until tuesday, but be closed after that, deathpost or not.

Dalthid has explained it pretty well, but here's the exact summary of what happens to fights:

a) Battle has 0 posts: It is closed immediately and judged as a forfeit win in favor of the respondent of the challenge (challenger never posted).
b) Battle has 1 post: It is closed immediately and judged as a forfeit win in favor of the challenger (respondent never posted).
c) Battle has 2 posts: It is closed and will be judged as is, taking only the two existing posts into account
d) Battle has 3 posts: It remains open until Tuesday night. If the 4th post is made in that time, it is complete, otherwise it will be closed and judged as it stands at that time (in this case, the challenger has an advantage, having two posts to convince the judge where the respondent had only one).
e) Battle has 4 posts: It is complete already and waiting for judgement.
