I just put in the purchase order today; come Wednesday, we'll have a dedicated server, which will mainly be for Battlefront, but which will also be able to host Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Academy. The server will be capable of 50 players for Battlefront, and I believe the same for JO and JA. The server will also have Teamspeak available to it, as well.
I'd like to take a moment and thank Gryffon, Oberst, Spears, Pyralis, and Telona for stepping up to assist me with donations. The server will be based in Atlanta, and I've also asked the hosting company to look into Allegiance as a possibility, too; they're going to look through the Allegiance site, and see if they can set it up for us. In any case, look for the server to be up on Wednesday. Get ready for it; I hope to see as many people as possible playing Battlefront with us, as well as JO and JA.

So, in theory, my connection to the server should be pretty damn good since I'm only about 1 1/2 hours north of Atlanta. Anyway, I'll probably donate some as soon as Kroger gets my paycheck situaiton figured out (as in, where the hell are they? They're lost somewhere between my old store and the new one).
It should be, Anshar. ou should actually have a really good connection with the server being that close, I'd imagine. And just again, I appreciate everyone who has so far donated, and I continue to appreciate those who are considering it. No matter what the amount, it all helps, and this is something that I just hope you all utilize, and enjoy. I hope we can keep this in use, and in benefit, for a long time to come.
