Finally (only about 10 weeks after the initial order), the telecom managed to connect my phone line. I do now have an ISDN and a DSL signal on it and all I need to have full net capability (and thus IRC) again is the ISP to process their stuff and get me the DSL router. Should hopefully be done within a week.
On a more DBish note - I've just read through the advanced poetry course and apart from some minor edits in the exam (point distribution), this will go online unchanged. Thanks DS and Lannie :). HTML II is next, but that one suffered from having the wrong data in the wrong places, sorry :(
