Greetings,

I realize that it has been a long time since I last reported, most of my duties were consumed with the organization and management of the Great Jedi War for the past months. I wish to thank everyone for their hard work and participation, every Clan and Brethren made me proud for their patience and competitive spirit. You reminded me why it is such a pleasure to serve on your Dark Council.

I also wish to extend my thanks to Lord Cotelin, Jac my dear friend. He has greatly honored me with elevation to Mastery. I am truely proud to have my contributions praised and recognized, and equally proud that I have been given the opportunity to pursue my passions for the development of the mythology of the Brotherhood, and the Final Way. I have been honored by Jac and by everyone who has helped me.

I owe thanks especially to my Staff: Vassan Rokir, Maxamillian Von Oberst, and Mal'ari'carun. Without them my office would not be the service that it is. We are truely a team, and I am proud to work with them.

Again, my thanks to everyone for the honors they have bestowed upon me.

Personal Stuff: As always, Yours Truely is insanely busy in all things personal. My son has an impressive vocabulary at two years of age, and he can already toddle about to give his mother and I elevated heart rates. My winery is just getting started as well, that has consumed much of my time. The greenhouses and vines are all planted, and we expect the first batch of useable grapes in about three years. Until then, its a careful process of culling and pruning, to condition the vines to produce the best possible fruit. My business ventures are slowing down for the winter, because it is Michigan, and the ground freezes, so I'll be around a great deal more.

Projects:

Dark Covenant: May of you have been asking about this particular project from the Office, and as of right now, the following people are privvy to the complete text: Myself, Jac, Yacko, Mav, and Oberst. That's about it. If you hear anyone else referring to it, they don't have a clue. Sorry. The Covenant itself is going to be what the Dark Side Compendium currently is: An outline of all the official procedures, rules, powers, and structures of the Brotherhood. It is modled on the United States Constitution, and will be the ultimate Law of the Brotherhood. Understandably, this is an incredibly complex document, and we are working hard to make it thorough. You have already seen one aspect of it used: Jac was appointed according to the proper protocols. In the future, the Covenant will define how every position within the Brotherhood is structured and maintained. It will also be a Bill of Rights for the Brethren, and define the role of every member, and every member's rights. We expect this document will be ready for public viewing and comment in the coming weeks.

Dark Side Compendium:

So if the Covenant is going to be the Compedium, what is the Compendium?

The Compendium, basically, is going to become the fictional account of the Brotherhood's structure. It will be a living record of how the Brotherhood has grown and developed as an organization. Every detail of the Compendium will be tied into the Past, Present, and Future of the Final Way. Every position will have a reference to past practices, and its current importance. We will have historical accounts and essays of why the Brotherhood is structured the way it is. Overall, the Compendium will be the Mythology of the Brotherhood, our sacred text.

This will also include the Chronicle of Dark Souls, that is, the Book of Dark Side Scripture that Vassan and I have been working on for the past year or so, and that I originally wrote back in 2000. I will try to have the current version posted this week.

Other Projects:

Artifacts: The Grand Master has charged me with keeping a detailed organizational lockdown on the proliferation of Artifacts. More will come on this later.

History of the Dark Side: This will be updated this week.

Compendium: I will have an Outline of Proposed Changes to Jac this week, and open for public viewing and comment after he approves.

The Dark Hall: One of my major tasks in the last year has been to overhaul the environment of the Dark Hall itself. I will be assembling a team sometime in the coming weeks to finish this project. One representative from every Clan will be on the Committee, as well as various members of the Dark Council.

Hush-Hush: Will likely be completed by the first of the year.

Other Projects: If anyone has anything that they want to see happen, in terms of the fictional/mythological development of the Brotherhood, PLEASE bring it foreward. I'm always thrilled to have new ideas brought to the table.

The Final Way: Many people have asked me what this is, because I use it quite a bit. So here's my answer. The Final Way, or the Via Termini, is the process that the Brotherhood uses to achieve the Final Order. The Tripartite Path is the name given to the Three Orders, and their particular approach to following the Final Way. Each Order approaches the Final Way uniquely. Elders of the Dark Side have transcended the Orders, and follow the Final Way itself, rather than the Tripartite Path. The Final Way itself is the means of making it to the Final Order. Understanding the Dark Side, transcending mere flesh and blood, honoring the Lords of Darkness, and purging the Lights from the Galaxy, and ultimately, bringing the whole of the Universe under the domain of the Iron Throne.
