The MML has begun - whoo! Mysteries were sent out to the 5 competing teams yesterday, and the sleuthing is underway!

Because there are 5 teams competing, and mysteries will be rotated each week, and because you don't have to solve your own mystery... this contest will run for 4 weeks, inclusive.

Please note: The DC has submitted a team. Some DC members are subscribed to mailing lists.

I'm not suggesting foul play, and I would ask the participating DC members to please delete unread any mails with MML-esque topics... but if the topic of your e-mail chain is obscure, it may be hard to avoid... so please take care with sensitive information. You may want to form a yahoo group for the duration of the MML? Or maybe you already have a secure MB you could use for discussion?

I apologise for not foreseeing and warning about this situation earlier - Arania has already noted it on CSP's mailing lists, and Jamez just pointed it out to me.

This would also be a good opportunity to note that acquiring information from outside your team which helps your team to solve a mystery is CHEATING and will be dealt with as such. I'm sure that I really didn't need to mention that tho... ;o)

Having said all of that, we're <s>all</s> nearly all adults, and I would trust everyone taking part to play along in the spirit of the competition. That means no peeking at other people's guesses!
