Sith History?

Sith History?

Just briefly. I was thinking about some of the comments I've seen regarding my "Sith Lords Reborn" competition, and I was wondering which Clans would like some of the following information. I've been trying to rework some of the Sith History, adding to it, or changing what doesn't seem fitting, etc. I have a basic rough of the history up until the first Dark Lord of the Sith, and considering the competition, I thought perhaps, some Clans might like to see it.

If any of you want it, I'll be glad to send it. Have one of your Summits email me, and I'll fire it off to them, so that they can pass it along to your mailing lists, or whatnot. Not only might it be helpful with brainstorming, but anybody who reads it and wants to give feedback, I'd appreciate that, too.

Sith history, for what concerns us, began with the arrival of the fleeing Dark Jedi sometimes 25k years BE. After that it's all in the books and comics and games (kotor - kotor 2 anyone ?=P).
What else do we need??

Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel take place after Exar Kun's war, which isn't the Sith Empire from the Golden Age comics. However, that's also Lucas Arts' work. The DB does not follow strictly to canon material, as I'm sure you're well aware. What does it concern us? Nothing, unless you're interested in the fictional history that we can create ourselves. And as much as you and CEk were into fiction, I'd have figured you'd have jumped on it already. If you don't want to participate, you don't have to.

Send it to either me or Kir or to Tal/Dinaari, BF. Always interested in certain kinds of non-lame fiction :P

Official material doesn't actually specify who those Dark Jedi were or where they went though, Khan. There's no direct quote that says those all went straight to Korriban to enslave the Sith... after all, what's the likely chance of them just happening, out of thousands and thousand of planets, to come across the Sith species?

That's where we have Darth come in. The mythical figurehead that, for all practical purposes could be fictitious himself. He fills the void of the "God figure" that pretty much exists in any cult or religion. Did he exist? Maybe. Does he need to have existed? Doesn't matter.

Some bloke went nuts and started the Dark Jedi. We call him Darth.

There's a void though then from Darth to Marka Ragnos. That's the void we're trying to fill in, as the canon material leaves the whole birth of the Sith Empire entirely down to our imagination. Marka Ragnos was the Ninth Dark Lord... and he ruled for a couple of hundred years or so, meaning there's a whole big gap to fill in.

After all... Dark Jedi #1, 25k years ago... Sith Empire collapses during feud between Lord Sadow and Lord Kressh, 5k-6k years ago, meaning there's a whole 20k year gap :P
